When I started gym last year, I used to spend a few minutes everyday on the treadmill. In a completely unrelated event to me back then, my shins used to pain as I jogged on the ground. Today I understood there was a connection between the two! Thank you!

Running outside is not desirable in our country , dogs, bad roads , bad footpaths , mad drivers , dust , pollution add up to big negatives . During covid lockdown I ran outside long distances for the first time , that too in a city where terrain is not flat and then I found that running on tread mills for years had helped my cardiovascular health , within days I could run well going up to 22 km . I don't think tread mills are bad , it's a tool to build endurance we can use it judiciously. In our cities for people who like to run and walk treadmills are a boon !

Treadmill only when I don't have ground to run, or it's rain, dense pollution outside. It also feels relaxing when recovering from minor injuries.

Treadmill’s best use is at home when one has to walk after every meal. Specially when, as you said, weather does not permit to walk outside. After dinner specially, I don’t feel safe to go out. I need it then.

I am so glad that I found this channel. There is a note in my gym that says only 15 min trademill. I thought he doesn't have sufficient trademills. I checked with the trainer yesterday and he advised try not to use trademil for a longer duration.. instead try some other floor excercise.

I lost 45 kgs on my home treadmill in less than a year. It's certainly not that useless for me. Of course, diet played a big part in the process (may be bigger than exercise) but treadmill or for that matter any other physical exercise, which you do on a regular basis, gives you a sense of purpose and that elated feeling which cannot be expressed in words.

suffered from back pain on a treadmill, did not knew why it was actually but when you are a road runner and recovering from some kind of injury treadmill is the best surface to be running on rather directly on road but again your body physiology will change when you will run on a treadmill.

Even though my gym has so many treadmills, i've never used them till date bcoz i always had that bias of lazy workout (not detailed study). I have always loved jump ropes as aerobic or cardio exercise so that's my to go exercise. I am glad i was not very wrong and decently right to choose jump rope. Running outdoors is more fun, i agree.

I agree some your point . Agree that our body use to , to walk on natural surface, but our body can also adapt any thing whatever you practice. Even you get more joint pain when you run on park's hard surface, Roads. And the other reason is usually people avoid lower body workout, specially TOE RAISES WHICH IS FOR TIBIALIS ANTERIOR To avoid knee pain go for CYCLING, ROWING MACHINE bcz they both are the NON IMPACT BASE & NON WEIGHT BEARING EXERCISES , But if you Run on sand that would be perfectly good for you. People never get back pain not only because of treadmill, they get back pain bcz they do have some other injuries nd instead of that they still do treadmill, thats y. They feel that pain more on treadmill bcz its a aerobic activity.

5 years since i have been hitting weights seriously.initially i was a treadmill nerd every workout session for a good 20 minutes.only result sweat and energy fuel tank near epidemic levels.given up treadmill for some time now instead walk back 2 km after workout that suits better

idk why this thing is not true in my case. i used to run on treadmill in gym on weekdays and on sunday i go to the park for running. and the surprising thing is that i am able to run double on the ground. i dont feel any type of pain. But every persons case is not same. I will now stop running on the treadmill and will just do incline walking. Thanks sir.

At our gym running is not allowed on the treadmill only walking for 15 minutes. People do understand once they know the reason behind .. thanks for making these videos hopefully people will understand 🙏🙏

Well that is always true that running outside has far better advantages than running on a treadmill but calling this a useless machine is not correct.If we look closely use of treadmills will show its benefits only if you use it properly. As you have pointed out that running on this is more like a downhill run, i.e why it is suggested to use incline position along with interval training or HIIT. Also Treadmills help you to have a healthy cardiovascular system (not as good as running outside or kickboxing etc) as they do elevate your heart rate and also increase your endurance (which u will not get by just pumping iron). All in all risk to reward ratio for using treadmill is not bad, but for weight loss this can never be used as the only method.

Sir ji bahut achhi achhi baaten batai aapne, sir ji mera weight 80 kg hai, height 5ft7inch hai, n 5 month gym karte huye ho gaye hain, but weight kam hi nhi ho rha hai, main 40 mnt trade mill par jogging kakre 300 cl burn karta hun n uske baad gym ki exercise jo bhi per day ka set hota hai wo karta hun but weight kam nhi ho rha hai, mujhe 67kg tak weight karna hai, abhi 10 din se maine hyperrush fat burner liya hai 65 gm ephendra wala, use lene se body me energy rhti hai but weight kam nhi ho rha hai , plz sir kuchh suggest kijiye weight 67kg tak kaise karun
