I’ve followed her and her protocol for well over a decade. The one ((BIG)) point to ask Terry regarding her protocol eliminating eggs: she’s not saying all eggs are the same… correct? BIG difference between factory / industrial raised chickens/ eggs VS. farm raised chicken on pasture. This is my biggest criticism of her: as eggs has saved my health on three continents. Someone ask her to specify, please!!!

Keep that in mind if you’re a vegan, the book, the protocol. is not for you!. She does not present in this video that she eats some form of meat/ poultry / organs/every day. According to the book that I bought…. Obviously it worked for her. But those vegetables you see on that table are NOT the first thing in the Walhs diet!

This is how gurus hedge. The problem is that MS is Lyme disease. Lyme eats us. What we eat is determined solely on our genetic and metabolic capcity to digest, assimilate, and activate nutrition. Lyme (and all of the wax jobs that they gave us) destroys those functions. So, if someone finds only relief in the carnivore diet that means that their protein digestion/assimilation pathways are intact. If someone finds relief in ketogenesis (starvation) then their fat digestion/assimilation pathways are intact. If someone finds relief in vegan diet then their carbohydrate pathways are intact. Anyone left becomes an alcoholic because that is the only thing they can burn for fuel.

I mean what do you have to lose, that medications isn't going to cure you, it's just suppressing your symptoms. You need to find the root cause of your MS and the root cause is usually nutrition and stress. Ease into it and see how you feel, listen to your body if you feel bad then stop and if you feel great then keep going.
@susannatuttapanna20102 жыл бұрын
don't quit it, just do the diet as well if you think it will help you. medications that are for MS are clinically shown (proven) to slow down the progression of the condition and reduce symptoms. Diets aren't. Dietary adjustments could help too, but if you quit the medication, you're taking a big risk that your health will decline. It doesn't have to be one or the other.

What diet do you follow for reducing MS?? please share
@eirenmist2301 Жыл бұрын
She makes it very clear in her book that eggs are not included in her program, which she originally wrote for her own healing, because she is personally allergic to eggs. She recommends that everyone give up eggs for the first phase of her protocol, in the elimination phase which is very strict, but eggs are one of the first things she says that you can add back in to see if you are allergic to them. If you have no symptoms from adding the eggs, then you are able to include them in your own healthy eating protocol. The same goes for things like legumes, nuts, and non-gluten grains. If you first clear your system of all of those things that may cause or exacerbate inflammation, then you can slowly add things back carefully watching to see if you have a reaction to them. But gluten and dairy are no-nos forever for people with autoimmune issues.

The reason you are not supposed to eat these vegetables for thyroid issues is because it depletes iodine and iodine is essential for thyroid function. You have to eat a bit of sea weed to keep your iodine levels up, Dr Whals recommends eating sea weed at least once or twice a week.
@susannatuttapanna20102 жыл бұрын
you can eat these foods, but it's best to cook them first which stops them being goitrogenic. You can also eat them raw, just don't eat them raw all the time. It's never made the slightest bit of difference to my health. Neither has coffee. The one thing that really made a difference was ditching gluten.

hi, i don't believe the diet is a standard solution for everyone, nobody is the same. You have to look at your own state of health and see what deficiencies or imbalances you have, the root cause of the disease etc.... As I mentioned above, this is the TCM approach, first step is always bringing balance back by diet, if this is not enough than you can use herbs and acupuncture to restore Qi (traditional Chinese medicine). In most cases, changing the diet is sufficient. So find urself a good Tcm practitioner (especially the pulse diagnosis is important) and you can go from there.

Sounds like dehydration and lack of quality salt. You need electrolytes. You can make your own with a huge glass of ice water, squeeze a lemon and an orange in the water and than use pink Himalayan salt. This should help with the cramps and spasms

There is nothing wrong with animal fats if they're from clean sources. Meaning fed the proper diet. The myth that fat is bad is what is causing a lot of our problems over the past 50 years or so. The fact that people use butter substitutes created in a lab as opposed to real butter because they're scared of fat is just insane. Fat phobia is so counterproductive.

Animal fats are essential to optimal brain function - the human brain and immune system would not have attained it's great capabilities if our ancestors hadn't started eating meat and animal fats. Vegans can try and deny this as much as they want - but their brains *still wouldn't be where they are today without their ancestors having eaten animals.

@@nataschiawilisch9958 Doesn't saturated fat exacerbate inflammation? Especially from sources like pork. I'm no vegan but my primary source of animal fat comes from fish. Fat from fish is objectively better than any other animal fat especially when dealing with an auto-immune disease.

@@nataschiawilisch9958 Total nonsense. Look at just SOME of the studies out of Loma Linda, for example. Dont accept that lie-our ancestors? How about a look at our most recent ancestors who eat meat-especially fats at mealtime? If reading and studying is difficult, time wise, take an hour and watch What the Health on Netflix, or site of the same name, Food Matters, and many others available. @@jules9628 thanks for the narc'd out passive aggressive comment - but on-top of studying *plenty ! I have previously cured my own autoimmune health issues with a combination of the first stages of the GAPS protocol, followed by a paleo then keto diet. And even more astoundingly healed my son's numerous neurological issues - after spending literally thousands on speech therapy, and occupational therapy etc - with a child who at 5.5 years old could only say *mum, *no and *my, numerous medical evacuations due to serious neurological issues, multi sensory issues etc etc etc - can't count how many times I had to contemplate planning his funeral - my son had started on his path to recovery and speech within *ONE WEEK of starting the first stage GAPS protocol - I didn't tell the multiple specialists that he seen on a weekly basis what I was doing - I just didn't take him in for a fortnight and *every *single one of them were blown away by the child I returned with - every one of them noticed immediately, because he was even making eye contact and had stopped walking on his toes . They said my son would never talk...at 7 he is now a chatterbox...I never thought there would be a day that I said *shh to that child, I can't remember the last time he was rushed to hospital in a "locked in" episode, or lost control of his body - drs tend to have a hard time making eye contact when you have a child in the state mine so regularly was - they had neither answers or hope for me to cling to. What saved my son ? $5 of boiled up bones with curry powder (because he refused to eat it without the curry powder) , butter and rendered animal fat - pig to be precise. You can hold whatever beliefs you want - but it is well documented that the human brain would not be what it is today without animal fats - that it can *heal with good quality animal fats - that in fact the grains and legumes that vegans rely on cause what you mentioned, they cause inflammation, ill health and disease.
