Thanks for the appreciation. You can go with HACCP, ISO/FSMS 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 courses to allow you to get a job in the food industry.

Good afternoon Sir I'm a mechanical engineer 2017 passed out.. My passion and interest is teaching.. Now I decided to do my PG in M.sc (food science , nutrition/ technology) But the thing is I hold bachelor's degree in Mechanical and not food technology/ science related disciplines. Now my doubt is whether a mechanical engineer can pursue M.sc degree and become Asst professor in college? Please clarify sir..

Sir is there a special course for understanding and updating ourselves of the FSSAI guidelines? ......and what is the criteria for getting job in fssai

There's no such course. You can check their website to understand the regulations. To get a job at FSSAI, you'd have to wait for them to release vacancies for Food safety officer or technical officer. And then you can apply for their exams. But vacancies are not released every year and they don't have a fixed schedule to release those vacancies.

M.Sc and M.Tech won't accept BA students. Eligibility is to be a graduate from either a B.Sc or B.Tech food science/technology program.

You can start preparing from 2nd year. However keep this in mind that vacancies may not be there when you complete your college. FSSAI doesn't release vacancies for technical officer or food safety officer every year.
