Personally, I want to leave trashy “style” in the past. Idk how wearing as little as possible became fashion. It doesn’t even look cute, there’s no style behind it. I want classy, I want actual fashion, I want us women to look elegant and to try and be put together again. I want the same for men and their muscles shirts and short shorts to be be GONE. I want sweater vests and dresses. I want FASHION. I mean to each their own but it’s disappointing when I watch one of those “fashion through the years” videos and it’s like “wow beautiful iconic” until it hits the 2000s and as it progresses the clothes and the style disappears.

Fashion can be so tasteful and is such an amazing way to express yourself artistically without doing the traditional arts and crafts and its so discouraging to see that fashion on women specifically being objectifying, it’s humiliating and embarrassing and it is not art. Lady gaga, Billie eillish and Miss Erykah Badu are some women i think about that really know how to use fashion for true style and expression. All these tiny dresses w micro bikinis under them are just easy cop outs and a trend mostly forced onto women through misogynistic stereotypes.

And people think it’s empowering and I just don’t understand how. It feels like it’s feeding right into what toxic men want and the misogynistic world view. Those girls youve mentioned have such awesome style!! I have been loving Sophia Richie, Kate Middleton, and older styles like Sophia Loren. That’s been my inspo lately. It’s so cool all of the different kinds of styles that are out there if you look passed the half naked “fashion.” And it’s so cool how you can really celebrate your body through fashion without completely revealing yourself. Like dressing for my “lines” has made me so much more confident (the kibbe body type system is fascinating for that). There’s just so many beautiful ways to express yourself when you dive into the world of fashion.

If you vape, this comment is for you. QUIT. I quit two years ago and there’s not a single day where I miss it now. In fact it grosses me out. It’s so worth it. Quitting helps your energy levels, saves time and money, and better sleep. Also vaping will f*ck up your teeth overtime and age you faster just like cigarettes. It will be hard, but after a year or so you will never want to look back.
