Notice how Trevor repeats everything the audience members are saying because he's aware that us, the online crowd, cannot hear properly.

Yup. People who get used to speaking to a crowd while being recorded all learn to do that. They become aware that microphones don't work as well as people's ears do at picking up distant voices. Even if it sounds fine in person it still won't on the microphones.

I think Trevor is too young to understand the significance of "French fries." Some of us who remember were very embarrassed by this. I was because we had had a French exchange student and I have French roots. See wikipedia: Freedom fries was a politically motivated renaming for French fries in the United States. The term was born in 2003 when the then Republican Chairman of the Committee on House Administration, Bob Ney, renamed the menu item in three Congressional cafeterias in response to France's opposition to the proposed invasion of Iraq. Although originally supported with several restaurants changing their menus as well, the term fell out of use due to declining support for the Iraq War. Following Ney's resignation as Chairman in 2006, it was quietly reverted. Trevor, if you read this, have fun!!!

I remember learning about the real meaning of jihad in GCSE religious studies (age 14). So I guess you don't have to go that in depth to know what it means, you just have to take a small interest in educating yourself about different religions. Then you can't get fooled by tabloids like the Sun or the Mail
@muhammadfarhanatif3105

@@eleanormason2647 Exactly. There is no terrorism in Islam or any religion for that matter. No religion wants to be associated with fear and cause people to turn out of fear. Even our religion forbids us from mocking other religions and their beliefs. The reason being that if we do that then the people of that religion will do the same.

The reason we use those french words in english is because there is no proper english word for that word. And no, the french dont do it because they have all the words they need, but for example in Korea they DO do it... so, for example,. there is no word for fork in Korean, so when they speak about eating salad, they will break their OG language to say fork. Many many many other words like that, its most common in asian countries for english.

@@hamburgerfaye All languages do this, it is called borrowing. French has borrowed words as well, even the simple 'allo' is borrowed from English 'hello'. You can find entire lists via a simple Google search. Korean is an interesting example. South Korean has a ton of English borrowed words because of new items and ideas but also because it is trendy to use English. North Korean, however, tries to purify foreign(Non Chinese or Russian) words. For instance, permed hair becomes 'pama' in SK and 'moritwikim' or deep fried hair in NK.

@@hamburgerfaye French language also has incorporate other languages words. Every single language does it. That's why it's easier to learn a new language when you know more than one. You find many common words of all the languages you learned.

I like the fact that this a compilation of Trevor's interactions with different cultures, race, religion and even gender in his audience, and he just like, blend with it,. The French guy in Atlanta, the Egyptians, who at that time is a bit troubled because of their leader, and he still found a way to make it funny and make them laugh, the Muslim or probably arab man who got in trouble with TSA because of his looks is probably a case of stereotyping, but Trevor just made it bubbly and made the man smile, and how he interacted with the Ms. America contestants, asking them witty questions to interact with them instead of the usual questions hosts ask to beautiful woman,. Trevor is Mr. Worldwide himself. 😂

@@codyj.8775 nobody in France says "ice cream" only "glace". Some say "mail" but most actually say "courrier electronique" or "mél". I agree with sandwich, business, burger, hot dog, chewing gum, cocktail, t-shirt and parking. Interview is never used in french but "entretien", and "football" is often referred to as "foot" or just "ballon". But if you are thinking about French speaking part of Canada, they use many more English words than in France.

I have no idea why so many people who don't speak French comment on this.... Interview is used in French. Just not in the context of a job which is what "entretien: is usually used for. ie. "Voici notre interview de Donald Trump."
