She’s passed but Trevor did make sure to take care of the cable & generator right after the time this segment was actually recorded. He always made sure to take care of her. He offered to pay for her to come live in NY and that he would take care of all expenses & whatnot to make sure she had the best care possible in her sunset years. She refused, so he did everything he could to make sure she was as comfortable as possible.

Comedy runs in the family. It was a joy being able to see you talk to your grandmother. Reminds me of how amazing families are.

my grandmother got her 5 daughters thru WW2, without harm to body and mind....but she been mental hurt! during thunderstorms she woke my mother to prepare the kids ( my sisters and me) and start for the car, the Russians are coming...she did that up into the 80s! she died in 2013, short of her 95th birthday!

@@justabookworm1382 Interracial dating and marriage were illegal under apartheid. Trevor's father was white and his mother was black, and their relationship was a crime when he was born. (It was decriminalized the following year.) "Born a Crime" is the title of his autobiography, which is definitely worth reading.

In Africa particulary South Africa people have deep belives. you will see people living in places that you wouldnt want to live in and they will tell you they are fine because their ancestors only know that place , so surely grand mum dint wnat to move and she likes the house as it is...
