Unimaginable that Jorgensen finished 38/39th and would end up being Olympic champ 4 years later, that Ryf finished 40th and would end up being a multiple 70.3,140.6 Ironman world champion, that Duffy finished 45th and is now an ITU world champ and potentially a favourite for 2020 olympics... I'm probably missing many more (Holland, Klamer etc...) but point is, these women have worked so hard to be where they are today

Depends on your speed. I couldn't hold their speed for that long. Swimming 1km isn't hard for me. @@JeffSmith-eq3kc errr...yes, I'm amazed nobody has even (or ever) mooted it, like her erstwhile Swiss compadre Brigette McMahon another doper. I'm a sports journalist, the only reason nobody wants to go near this as these revelations will destroy the sport, the fact the woman turned up 4 years later after missing the ITU in 2016 season with a broken hand but show up in Rio and come 5 minutes from robbing, er i mean snatching another gold (at 35) from the most dominant athlete of her generation should tell you all you need to know, watch the 2016 race and look at GJ expression running with NS, if that there doesn't convince you, i don't know what will!

@@marcusmaher-triskellionfil5158 real evidence would convince me. Not facial expressions and a minor injury. You must have something better than this. There's nothing legitimate I can find accusing her of doping. Nothing at all.

@@JeffSmith-eq3kc in your world, perhaps.. but if you knew (who) her coach was, the fact she broke her hand (not a minor injury) she didn't compete at all in 2016 and merely showed up in Rio and nearly stole the gold (her husband is Reto Hug, do you know who he was) if you want to live in a Lance Armstrong alternate reality, go right ahead, leave your naivety at the door while your at it!!
@JeffSmith-eq3kc
@JeffSmith-eq3kc 3 жыл бұрын
@@marcusmaher-triskellionfil5158 pretty sure I asked for actual, legitimate evidence. I am still waiting. You're just smearing an athlete because she performed better than expected coming off an injury. To her hand, in a triathlon. Oh, and that obvious facial expression thing. It's sad but I guess that's considered journalism now. There is zero actual, legitimate evidence she was doping. None. So in your world every successful athlete is doping because Lance Armstrong was successful and was doping? I'd say that's naive and very sad also. Testing has come a long way since Lance Armstrong by the way, and these athletes are tested all the time. It's naive to think all athletes are clean, they're not, but you need actual evidence to accuse someone of cheating. You just don't have any.

what is this a team race? why would you willingly go to the front of the pack on the bike.. these 2 hour races always come down to the end because the competitors are willing to stay at pace with one another the entire time. triathlons are dumb. lame. boring.
@metalcar
@metalcar 5 жыл бұрын
triathlons consisting of 3 sports, and u are not going to be good in all 3. by keeping pace with one another during the bike, you are indirectly following the pace that could be set by a poorer biker than you and who will then follow u all the way to the running portion and you will be putting yourself in a difficult situation if that person is a strong runner. by pushing the pace during the bike, going to the front, is an opportunity to drop poor bikers. its a strategy. no wonder you find it boring and dumb, that's because dumb people realize dumb things haha
