You know, this channel has really shifted my perspective on life and opened up my world. I live a cushy life in a high income country (Singapore). After watching this channel I started to appreciate what I have much more, especially the little things. The things I take for granted are cherished and sometimes hard to come by these men. Also, these guys did more for my perception of Pakistan and Islam than any national campaign. They should be national ambassadors, not even kidding.

I worked for a company that produced waffle irons for a long time. The kids always loved the custom plates we'd make. You can do Mickey Mouse head shaped or basically whatever shape you want and get the metal die guy to create it.

I have a cough actually, it just began today. I can absolutely take Mr. Tahir's advice, I'm in just the right place for it! Canada is the land of maple syrup! Hahaha! Mr. Chaudhary, you are surely an honourary Canadian for your love of maple syrup and waffles! The syrup comes from the sap of maple trees, boiled down to make such a sweet, rich delight. The stands of trees are known as a 'sugar bush', and to be there when they are reducing the sap, when there is fresh snow, you get to pour that fresh hot sweet treat onto the snow, which cools it, and you twist it up on a stick to eat. It is absolutely delicious, and if you ever make your way to Canada, please be sure to try it! Quebec and Ontario are the provinces for it, it is worth trying!

I'm from Cleveland. We had Biscuits and Gravy. I had never had chicken and waffles until I was transferred to Atlanta briefly. "It's a thing?" "Yo all tain't around from here!,are you?" Noper. Why didn't anyone tell them that the hot sauce is for the chicken and the syrup for the waffles but they all can be eaten together by just pouring both over the items on the plate? Most of them didn't get the idea about the sauces so they thought the chicken was bland and the waffle was just interesting looking bread/cake. I am so glad that these people are getting the opportunity to taste the flavors of different cultures and also that they are getting extra meals. Most seem to be happy and grateful.

There is no right or wrong way to eat your food. You just eat it it suit your own tastes. Having said that, I do wish the gentlemen could be instructed on how it’s typically eaten first. Have them try it the “traditional” way so they can get the full effect of the food as it was intended…then they can eat it however they wish. I believe this will give them even more enjoyment while trying new foods and food combinations. ✌🏻💕😊

Waffles with butter and maple syrup. Any good pancake syrup is okay, also. Waffles and strawberries with whipped cream. But seriously, waffles and pancakes both go well with a lot of things, I suppose. Like bread, roti, and naan. When Dr. Tahir spread the hot sauce on the waffle I winced a little. I was waiting him to not like it. I don't think I would like it. The sweet roti Mr. Gul Sher described sounds so good. The raisins and pistachios with almonds and fennel? So good. So, how about pancakes? Serve them with butter and maple syrup. Or a couple with that and a couple with fresh fruit and whipped cream. To be honest waffles or pancakes with ripe mangoes and sweet, whipped cream might be _too_ good. 😉👍‍ Thank all of you so much.

Mr. C is back! You put the plates down and they are going 'What is this thing?' Mr. C goes 'Cake?' I bet the sweet roti with nuts is tasty! I'm snacking on pistachios right now. They grow very well in California, just like almonds and avocados. I bet they would like 'dessert pizzas'. They are very good and taste like a cinnamon roll. And you are right Tahir, eating too much meat is bad for your health. It's better to eat lots of fruit, veggies, and then whole grains.

They should have put the Maple Syrup on the whole thing, let it soak in a little on the Chicken & Waffles, then take a bite. That's how we eat it.
