In memory of our loved one, Dr. Celey Okogun, 55 years old, born on May 29, 1968, and passed away on May 15, 2024.
Celey Okogun is a consummate advertising practitioner with over 30 years of experience in integrated marketing communication (IMC), spanning account management, Media, Public Relations, and leadership. He holds a doctorate from Capella University, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA in Organization and Management, specializing in Leadership. As an entrepreneur and investor, he founded NOVELPOTTA, an IMC Group in Nigeria and Cameroon, with affiliates involved in strategic planning, execution, and through-the-line engagement in the sector.
He’s a member of many professional bodies and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors (IoD). He was, for many years, an Executive Council member of the Association of Esan Professionals (AEP); now current Secretary to Council, Esan Okpa Initiative (EOI) and Publicity Secretary, Unuedo Renaissance (a Pan Edo State body), Celey Okogun hails from Idumowu, Uhe, Igueben in Igueben Local Government Area and married to Dr. (Barr.) Anire Okogun.
Dr. Celey Idebaneria Okogun, Beloved Husband, Father, Son, and Brother. He is survived by his wife, Dr. Anirejuoritse Okogun; children, Osemenga Clare, Osetare Marian, Osahie Peter, Anthony Odion, Antonia Akhere, and Ehiose Isabella. His mother, Angelina Okogun; Brothers, Nosa, Ehimen, Emmanuel, Uyi, Odion, Stephen; and sister, Akhere. Dr. Okogun is also survived by relatives, professional colleagues, political associates, friends, and Knights and Ladies of St.Mulumba.
