Mrs. Ermey, I would like to thank you for your comment and more importantly, express my respect and condolences to you and your family. I wish I had known more about his personal life though I know that not every person is willing to share those kinds of things to just anyone. I saw in some of your videos, a brief glimpse of the Ermey family. Thank you so much. And I hope that all is and will continue to go well for you and your family.

Saw this treasure in "Boys from Company C" in theatre with my uncle. He was a Navy Seal. The Gunny was my idea of what a man should be. Strong, but not a bully; Smart, but not a wise-ass. He should be proud, honest, and live with honor in all parts of your life. I raised my sons with these lessons. All 3 are tributes to what I learned. 1 son was in the Army, and his oldest is in the Army now. So Gunny please watch over my grandson if you can spare the time while training Angels.

To those who find the music volume in the background, or the style/content of the music to be in poor taste I would offer my apologies for poor editing in trying to balance the track and the video sounds. If you had a problem with the track itself and its content then I am sorry you feel that way; whether it be the style of it or the meanings/interpretations of it. For me, I felt like "coming home" meant returning home after war/service and interpreted it in this case as Ronald coming home as in, home, where one goes after life--as your beliefs may direct. I have the most huge respect for him and it is why I made this :) Please show respect as well, for this man.

Why were majority of his clips not even about his actual life, they were from movies
@TeamKuukiFoodGames
@TeamKuukiFoodGames 6 жыл бұрын
Joe Dirt A majority of the clips came from some of the films and shows he was in, which although is not 100% telling of his personal life, I do not feel like I have the means to properly make a tribute to his personal life and details of his military service. The appearances he made on television certainly do help tell us a little bit about the man, and certainly in a respectable way. I believe he talks about those things in some of the shows and interviews he was a part of. To me, as a kid growing up I mostly saw him on Mail Call on the history channel in the mornings. As a thanks and tribute to him I tried to do my own limited justice in remembering him ^^.
