Trick to Unlock: 2006 Ford Focus (locked keys inside)

Professional technique and instruction video for unlocking a 2006 Ford Focus using lockout tools. We have all done it, made the mistake of locking our keys in the car.
Step 1: Slide your airbag into the door jam. Start at the top of the door and slide it up and down. Begin pumping until you see a big enough crack to slide in a tool.
Step 2: Use your long reach tool to flip the manual lock paddle to the unlocked position.
Step 3: Deflate your airbag to avoid risk of damaging vehicle.
Step 4: Grab your keys and your’re good to go!

it also works if you just very gently tug on the inside door handle. it will actuate the lock lever to the unlock position.

Also the keys are in the ignition and turned halfway on so the lights are all lit up but engine not turned on. So if the battery dies by tomorrow I won’t be able to charge it because I can’t get into the car to pull the hood lift. 😮

You can by a steel rod at a Lowes or Home Depot and bend it to shape

I had a customers mk2 focus hatchback that was double locked with keys in the boot. Pulling on handles or pressing on the door locks wouldn't work. Inside Handles had no resistance and the locks were stiff. The trunk release button didn't work either unfortunately. Had to call locksmith for her

People should do what I do I take a key and hide it underneath the car somewhere where it can't be seen so if you lock it out you can get under the car grab the extra key and unlock the door. Really how many people have that material at hand to unlock their door

@@listenbro3673 yeah but you don't need a key with a chip just unlock the door and get inside the vehicle in case you lock your keys inside

@@listenbro3673 another thing you can do is take your key that has the chip and hide at underneath the steering column where no body can see it and then have blanks made of that key then the car thinks it's got a key in it with a chip because it's sending off the sensor from the one that does but you can get money made and cheap
