TRIP REPORT | TAP Portugal | TOP Comfort! ツ | Lisbon to Madrid | Embraer E190

4 жыл бұрынTAP trip report from Lisbon to Madrid onboard an Embraer E190 operated by TAP Express (Portugalia). With the 2-2 seat configuration of the Embraer, any flight is comfortable.
Those who already have flown to/from Lisbon know perfectly how amazing are the takeoffs from Portugal's capital. It doesn't matter which runway you'll use: you'll be flying over buildings and house just after lift-off.
If to those views you add the pre-Sunset light... you get exactly what we had today: some of the most impressive views I've seen from an airplane.
After a very nice and comfortable flight, we landed in Madrid (still with daylight) on runway 32L. Before arriving at Terminal 2, we could see some nice planes as well. Enjoy this trip!

Muchas gracias! Me alegra que te haya gustado! La verdad es que el Embraer E190 y E195 son aviones muy cómodos, especialmente por la configuración de asientos 2-2. Sin embargo, como ya apunto en el vídeo, el hecho de que casi todas las filas estén mal alineadas con los asientos es un problema. Especialmente para gente como yo, que quiere grabar los vuelos! jaja Por cierto! Mañana vídeo muy especial! Por fin estrenamos la que fue nombrada 9 años seguidos Mejor Aerolínea de Europa: Turkish Airlines! Saludos y buen fin de semana! :)

Thanks so much! It was a very comfortable flight! :) The E190 and E195 are really comfortable planes, especially thanks to the 2-2 seat configuration. The problem, as I've stated in the video is the fact that the windows are not correctly aligned with the seats in almost none rows, so especially for people like me that want to record the flight... it is a problem. That's the only reason why I don't fly so much on the Embraers and why there are not so many Embraer trip reports on KZfaq: there are really difficult to record correctly (except with a Go-pro, but I hate that). By the way! Tomorrow we'll have, for the first time, the airline that was awarded for 9 years with the title of "Best European Airline": Turkish Airlines! See you tomorrow! Wish you a nice weekend! :)

Por ahora vuelan a Canarias y a aeropuertos de la Península, así que quizás no tarden mucho en empezar a volar a Palma. Sin embargo, Mallorca es un aeropuerto que tiene una oferta enorme, de ahí que para muchas aerolíneas no sea rentable. Saludos!

Muy bonito el vídeo sobre todo por las increíbles vistas de Lisboa y el puente Vasco de Gama una maravilla de la ingeniería, y el avión me ha parecido cómodo con la configuración de los asientos no vas tan apretado como en otros. Un cordial saludo

Muchas gracias!! Muy cierto lo de que la configuración de asientos 2-2 es más cómoda que 3-3. Sin duda es así. No obstante, en este tienes un pelín más de sensación de cabina pequeña porque es mucho más baja. No obstante, para vuelos cortos es un avión comodísimo! Me alegra que te haya gustado! Saludos! :)

Lisboa possui 2 pontes: a Ponte 25 de Abril, mais antiga, com 3 kms, que atravessa o Rio Tejo na parte mais estreita, entre Lisboa e Almada, e a Ponte Vasco da Gama, que atravessa o Rio Tejo na zona mais larga, com 18 kms, sendo a maior ponte da Europa.

a EMBRAER deu uma nova dimensao a aviacao regional e as viagens de media distancia , sao avioes compactos ,confortaveis e rapidos que tornam este tipo de viagens muito bom com a mesma categoria de outro voo qualquer....MUITO BEM EMBRAER--PARABENS

El único problema que le veo a los aviones Embraer es que las ventanillas están siempre muy mal alineadas con los asientos. Por el resto, los Embraer son aviones fantásticos! :) Saludos!

Looks like a wonderful trip. 👍 Love the scenery on departure and the E190 has to be one of the most comfortable narrow bodied aircraft to fly in. I wish they still had some in Australia (Virgin got rid of them to simplify their fleet). The TAP livery is simply stunning. 😍

Thanks so much! It was a very comfortable flight! :) Lisbon departure always gives very nice views. It's doesn't matter which runway you use: this one offers great views of the river and bridge, while the other directs you to the city centre. Both amazing! :) By the way! Flew in May MAD - LIS with TP, 1st time in LIS: very crowded and narrow walkingways. The waiting area at my gate very small even for an A319. The best thing were the views of the city during Landing. And the weather was great :-)

No, my gate area in LIS. In MAD there was really enough space. But the transit in LIS was, yeah: spaceless :-) In my opinion the problem of LIS is the location in the heart of the city. So there isn't much space of expanding for apron area, Taxiways and so on. And in the result there is also not enough room for expanding the terminal. And - no espaniol, Sorry!

Delightful flight report Lucas.Whenever I flew with Embs was a great experience.They are fast and comfortable planes and these winglets are great.To tell you the truth I have never noticed the misalignement of seats and windows.The sunset light at the descend and landing was sensational.Best Regards my friend

Muy buen video , una sola vez voleen TAP , desde Sao paulo hasta Valencia , TAP no vuela hasta Argentina , hay que ir a Brasil para hacer coneccion, saludos

Muchas gracias!! TAP es de las mejores opciones para volar a Brasil desde Europa. Posiblemente la aerolínea que vuela a más destinos en Brasil (excepto LATAM, claro) y con más frecuencias. Por cierto! Mañana vídeo muy especial! Por fin estrenamos la que fue nombrada 9 años seguidos Mejor Aerolínea de Europa: Turkish Airlines! Saludos y buen fin de semana! :)

Es una pena que los Embraer tengan el defecto de la falta de alineación de los asientos con respecto a las ventanas para comodidad de los pasajeros, espero que las nuevas versiones E2 del 190, 175 y 195 hayan corregido esa parte, por el resto me parece un avión muy cómodo para volar por lo mullido de sus asientos, espacio ideal para personas altas, motores relativamente silenciosos y diseños 2+2 de los asientos, excelente vuelo y menos mal que pudiste volver con los E190, tenías tiempo que no volabas en ellos.

Muchas gracias! Me alegra que te haya gustado! La verdad es que el Embraer E190 y E195 son aviones muy cómodos, especialmente por la configuración de asientos 2-2. Sin embargo, como bien dices,, el hecho de que casi todas las filas estén mal alineadas con los asientos es un problema. Especialmente para gente como yo, que quiere grabar los vuelos! jeje Yo creo que es más un problema del fuselaje, que tiene las ventanillas demasiado espaciadas entre ellas.. Veremos qué pasa con el E2, aunque seguramente el fuselaje sea, sino el mismo, prácticamente igual... Por cierto! Mañana vídeo muy especial! Por fin estrenamos la que fue nombrada 9 años seguidos Mejor Aerolínea de Europa: Turkish Airlines! Saludos y buen fin de semana! :)

the thing that the seats are not aligned on embraer jets is indeed interesting because they are mounted o airlinerails and the seat is clipped in the airline rail....it es taken out in 2 minutes...but somehow no airline readjusted the seats ever.......even if their should be the first A checks soon.....

Muchas gracias!! Pues yo diría que no. De hecho, me parece aún menor que la diferencia entre Iberia e Iberia Express. La verdad es que todos los vuelos que he hecho con TAP han sido muy cómodos. Saludos! :)

I'm not sure if you asked me already about LOT haha Anyway, I will be flying with them as soon as possible, but that doesn't mean that I will be able to do it immediately. The budget for the trips is very limited and I have to mix that budget with the general interest of all viewers. Nonetheless, LOT, AirBaltic, Aegean and Tarom are my priorities for future bookings! Actually, I was on connecting from another flight. I didn't have time to visit the city. However, TAP has what they call "TAP stopover" which basically allows you to stay for X nights in Lisbon or Porto between your flights, without having to pay any extra for the tickets. It's a nice option to visit both cities. By the way! Tomorrow we'll have, for the first time, the airline that was awarded for 9 years with the title of "Best European Airline": Turkish Airlines! No vídeo mostra o aviao da TAP CS-TOE e diz que tem como destino Vienna, no entanto não é verdade. A aeronave está na posição a efectuar ensaios de motores em alta potência e não está a preparar se para fazer nenhum voo.

La verdad es que no lo recuerdo bien. Ya no tengo los datos de cuando edité el vídeo. Es posible que fuese un error de Flight Radar24. Tal vez cogí mal la fecha de la web. En cualquier caso, espero que te haya gustado el vídeo! :)

Buenas! Sabes bien que siempre contesto! ;-) Pues ayer estuve a punto de comprar un billete para viajar por primera vez a la Palma, pero al final no pudo ser por los horarios. Sin embargo, espero poder visitar el aeropuerto de La Palma durante Septiembre (Octubre como máximo). Saludos!

Yep, well, at least they give you something. However, I think that if the catering service is so poor, it would be better for the passengers to have the option of buying something onboard, like in may other airlines, but with reduced prices (not the aviation standard crazy ones). What do you think? At least you would have options...
