Trip to Virginia Beach Time-Lapse

This is a time-lapse video of a trip to Virginia Beach from Herndon. This trip is entirely in Virginia. This video also features a drive (southbound) on US-13 over the Lucius J Kellam Jr Bridge-Tunnel - a 16 mile long total bridge-tunnel spanning the Chesapeake Bay.
There is no audio with this recording.

Small mistake on your return trip. When you leave 264 and enter 64, you’re entering Norfolk, not Hampton.

Out of curiosity, what kind of camera are you using, and what features are you using for the GPS overlay? I’m going to take a trip soon that I want to capture... I imagine it will have to be recorded in chunks and edited....

This trip was recorded using a Mobius Action Camera, but I've since started using the Garmin Virb Ultra 30, which records GPS information. The Virb software displays the GPS information recorded by the camera, but I use Final Cut Pro for all other editing, including the text, map and graphics overlays.

I don't remember exactly. It might be Marriott, and it was right on the beach.

Just out of curiosity, why did you jump off onto Terminal and then cut back to Little Creek only to get right back onto 64?

Why would you take I-295 south around Richmond, Virginia, instead of driving through Richmond, Virginia, via I-95 to/from I-64?

It's usually faster to drive around Richmond than to do drive through it.

Yea it is faster, the speed limit in inner rva is 55 and there’s always traffic as opposed to 70 also there’s way more crowded exits on the 95-64 interchange
