I used to live in West Virginia, which is why I did a road trip through West Virginia to many different places, either where I've lived or where I've visited often.

That's also because West Virginia has branches which are the panhandles. I was going to Moorefield, wv once from I-68 in Morgantown. Entered Maryland and drove to Cumberland, took US 220 south and ended up back in West Virginia in Keyser and the eastern panhandle. Its neat how you can do that.

I know how you feel. I was planning a couple of big trips this summer, but I don't know that I'll be able to go anywhere.

Yeah take 465 around Indianapolis instead of cutting through on 38th street

@Shandra9000mail hello from Indianapolis! The 465 loop is the best way through Indy. I 70 gets narrow and congested all the time. 465 is a big circle around Indy. The northern part of the loop is busier than the south side most of the time. Its about 20 miles between the I 70 west exits. Usually an easy drive. Avoid the rush hours if you can! Safe travels!

Thanks! Sorry for late reply. KZfaq's notifications haven't been the best at letting me know all of the comments that I've had. I used the Mobius Action Camera, which works great as a dashcam. I looked at the GoPro, but like so many other action cameras, the time-lapse frame-rates weren't up to par with what I'd wanted. The Mobius maxes out at 4fps, but if I could get 5-6fps, I'd have used that instead. There was another action camera that I tried out that offered up to 10fps for time-lapse, but the image quality, even though it claimed to be 4k, wasn't as good as the Mobius's 1080p image quality - it was the ODRVM action camera. It's too bad that so few of these manufacturers offer higher time-lapse rates, and I don't understand why not.

Thanks for the reply! As you mentioned, 5-6 fps would be really nice. My GoPro is only 2 fps, but I need to strike a balance between fps and the length of the videos. I did a few test videos locally, then last weekend I recorded my journey from Ohio to Martinsville VA and back. GoPro Hero4 Silver, using 2 fps Time Lapse mode (the maximum fps in GoPro's Time Lapse mode). At a playback speed of 30 fps, that results in a 15x speed. Not as smooth as yours, but I'm happy with the results. Now that I have longer trip under my belt, I'm eager to film longer trips later this year.

My nephew and his wife live there, which was the purpose of this road trip.
