Chicago is so underrated, moved here some years ago, best decision I ever made. Downtown and especially the lakefront is so beautiful. Having miles of free lake access is so incredible! Also yeah the food and museums/aquarium are FIRE. Next time you're here check out the planetarium (in the same area as Shedd) and also the art museum. There's a exhibit at the art museum that's a ton of super tiny, hyper realistic rooms that are inside the walls that is so cool especially when baked.
