This will video will show you why your Triumph Daytona 675 runs hot. I'll also show you how to fix it. The primary issue is the thermostat for the 2012 and older models. The thermostat simply doesn't open up enough to properly cool the engine.

That's awesome you pointed this out. Have you noticed any differences with the updated part?

Yes... The motorcycle definitely stays cooler with the updated thermostat. Also, if you've been sitting at a light on a hot day, once you start moving the temp drops back down faster than it used to. I'm not even running water wetter or engine ice anymore. The cooling issue was always related to the thermostat.

@@TravisPinto thanks for the feedback. I've been having a lot of problems with it overheating. I even went through the trouble of buying a heat exchanger out of the UK for another $250. Though I think it works a little better it certainly hasn't fixed the problem. I bought the new thermostat yesterday so let's see what happens. I'm really happy that you posted this. I didn't know what else to do for this damn bike. It's fun to ride but not if the engine seizes up on you lol.

@@RubberChickenMan007 Yeah... You will know right away if the source of the problem is the old thermostat. It will only open up 1-2mm. the new one will open up ~20mm. Good Luck!
