Triumph Daytona 675r Arrow exhaust install

Popping an Arrow slip-on onto the 2015 Daytona. Without the baffle in this pipe is much louder than expected, but sounds great.

I have a 13' and need to take the exhaust off in order to get to the oil sump bolts as they've rattled loose and I've lost a couple. I'm a bit worried about disconnecting the exup cables. Any advice?

The exup cables aren't too bad to disconnect (have to loosen off the nuts then unhook while taking tension off), but putting them back on was a bit tricky. I'd recommend taking some photos beforehand of how tight they are on each side so you can install them back the same way

Editing is looking good! Which Arrow slip on is this? Did you get the bike tuned after? Read that triumph have a tune for the exaust mods?

Thanks Flint. I believe the model number is a9600442. I used the TuneECU app with a Bluetooth OBD2 sensor to reflash the ecu with the triumph arrow tune, which is available on the TuneECU website.

Hey mate, congrats on the new bike! I bought a black 2015 R a couple of months ago and I love it! I've been thinking of getting an Arrow as well but I cannot find one anywhere. I'd appreciate if you let me know where I can find it and how much it is! Cheers

Thanks man, they look dope in black too. I bought the exhaust through my local Triumph facebook page by asking around, cost around $400AUD which was a really good deal. I've seen a couple on ebay for a similar price but they're off crashed bikes, so a bit scratched and dented up. Seeing as no where stocks them anymore, I'd say your best bet is to keep an eye on facebook/ebay/craigslist. Goodluck!

How did u disable the exup valve ?? Without servo buddy ?? Let me know

You can disable it in the ECU using an OBDlink Bluetooth connection and the TuneECU Android app. I didn't need to disable it for the arrow exhaust as it also has an exup valve

What is the paste that was applied to the black plastic parts?

Just a smear of grease so they pop back into their spots easier

Did you have to get a tune for the slip on, you took the cat off so I assumed you should do? Thanks in advance. Also, any difference in the feel of the bike?

I loaded the official arrow tune on via TuneECU and a Bluetooth obd2 dongle. Cat was not removed but it is still recommended to retune. The bike does feel a bit peppier but that's probably placebo due to the increase in volume haha

@@niampayne2593 You'll need an OBDlink LX for the dongle, and the Android app called TuneECU. The TuneECU website has all the maps available for free
