Finally got one... Will go through what it is and a brief ‘how to’ on fitting it.

I've just had one installed on my thruxton R, is made what's already a fun, spiritedly quick bike even more fun. Bloody amazing but of kit.

Tryumph QS is in fact Translogic Intellyshift System labeled for Tryumph. Works great

Added one to my Z900RS they are great, really want to fit an auto blipper but they don’t do one for cable throttles

Yup you're right can't beat a quick shifter love mine on my Daytona 675R but really would love a blipper for mine but unless im willing to spend around £1300+ its not possible!!

Dubble D, yeah indeed I love the "old school" blipping with my right😃 Coming down the straight about 110 mph, slightly breaking blipp down to third gear, chicane usw...smiling inside my helmet the whole time😃👍😃

Accidentally but gladly made you some extra cash, the add at the beginning was a short non skip add, it was at the end as I clicked to go full screen. When it went full screen the add played again, slight confusion made me then click out of full screen and it played again. Guess what happened next, yes, I clicked back to full screen and the add played one more time, enjoy the extra pennies lol Love that bike btw :)

Yep it amazing the quick shifter but I admit I don’t use it too much in from first to second, which is fine for me. I have had some false neutrals, which I hate when I’m pulling hard from a junction. I have the Evotech levers too and love them.

Dougie you tried adjusting the shifter position? Seemed to have cured it with mine, but that’s exactly what happened to me in front of loads of bikers 😂

Shouldn’t use a quick shifter between 1st and 2nd really at all

Cuz of the throw between 1st and 2nd is a lot longer, u can get away with it sometimes with these latest shifters that have the killtime settings for each for each gear, racing we could to get awaywith it as u are full throttle ringing it’s neck, hm shifters like the seamless we can adjust kill times between each shift ya see

I'll be very spirited with it.... Coming from a zx636 15 so xD I'll be defo using it aggressively in terms of acceleration rather than top speed xD

Nice bike. I'm hazy on what the quick-shifter does. I infer you don't need to use the clutch or throttle to up or downshift? Sano bike!

KutWrite this particular one means I don’t need to use the clutch to shift up and can do so on full throttle. Other ones can do down shifts without the need to pull the clutch

No difference, the forks still hit their stops the same as of it had handlebars

Have you had any issues with this quickshifter? I installed mine and it didn't work well at low speed, sounded like tooth revs weren't matched in a gearbox, Another time when shifting from 4 to 5, about 2/3 throttle it sounded like neutral, revs went up without pull... apart from that it works OK... Are there any rules, do/don't?

Blazej Wiencek never had any issues with mine, make sure you’re on throttle when shifting, it’s works best the more load it’s under. So riding with light throttle won’t necessarily work that well. Remember it’s made to aid up shifts in ‘fast paced/race conditions’ not for convenience around town 👍🏼

Before I got mine I did a thorough investigation, there is a lot of cheap shit on the market! Got the Triumph one, I had to pay more but definitely got more at the end👍

Did you add clipons yourself.. I’m thinking of going clipons on my ‘12 speed triple. They look awesome... but I think I have to change the whole front so the don’t hit the lights/dash?

Fuji Wags I did, luckily for you a few companies make a proper kit for the 2012 model so it won’t fowl the clocks/headlights

Always wanted a QS, but never gotten around to it. On the subject of it, I feel the same ref the ability to ride quickly with most Speed riders. Shame really as they can get a proper move on when you give it some.

Did you have any Engine management light issues when installed? I installed one a few days ago, light doesn’t seem to drop out since it’s been installed. Any suggestions for diagnosis?

No EML, just sounds like it needs adjusting? Assuming it’s been installed correctly?

i have a quick shifter on my triumph street triple and my god that thing rips like a fucker bike is only a 675 but on a rolling/standing start that quick shifter makes allll the difference racing against bigger cc bikes

Rider'sDen I have a tracker and locks, but mainly being vigilant and parking in places where people won’t pass as a matter or course. There’s a video on the Monimoto tracker that I have, it’s a cheap alternative to the expensive brands
