My first bike was a 2014 675 Street Triple. It was a great bike and fun to ride. Glad you got to test ride this bike. Still an awesome naked. Picked up a 2024 GSXR 750 in January. Have some steel brake lines that I'm planning on installing soon. Would like to do some track days once I'm more comfortable on it. Been taking it to a parking lot and practicing low speed drills etc to get more familiar with the bike. Cheers and thanks for the review on the Triumph.

I grew up riding a Triumph! My first street bike was a dual purpose Triumph TR5T Trophy Trail 500cc motorcycle. I got my motorcycle permit on it, and I was driving it to high school. I was the coolest kid in school!

My buddy whose a track junkie has had 3 of the 675, love the sound, felt good going down the road, but it wasn't exactly what I thought it would be, had really nothing down low. I've ridden almost all of the bikes he's had beside his Panigale and the S1000RR, but I've been trying for a few years now to get him to sell me his RC51, I love that bike it's just Soo comfortable to ride besides my Z1000.

@@RayBowdenRides He's had 5 of them, one was a dedicated track bike but he got rid of it along with his ZX10R, picked up the S1000RR, got rid of that and two of the 3 675's, got the Panigale. Down to the one RC51 now and it never really gets used, maybe twice a year if that ever and it's never seen the track. Really have to twist his arm to get him to come out on the roads even just for a cruise but I completely understand why, too many people we've known bit it over the years, and his ol lady won't even touch a bike anymore for the same reason.

I have a 2022 in silver, otherwise identical to the bike youre riding. The 128hp number is for the gen 3 765, the bike you are riding is one of the final year gen 2 765 with 121hp. I actually prefer the gen 2, because they have a larger metal gas tank. They are both incredible machines though! I love finding first ride reviews because i love seeing people experience this absolute weapon.

@@RayBowdenRides they definitely aren't cheap, but I have the finances and space for only one bike and I was looking for the best all rounder jack of all trades, and the performance and handling and sheer versatility of the powerband sold me two minutes into my test ride. It felt like it was connected to my soul and I had to have it

Also a chest and back protector under my shirt, but yes your right. I've been riding since I was 6yrs old - but I should wear more gear but I don't. I live in Texas and it's hot here, it's a personal choice I make . I believe it is my choice- but yes I should. Thank you for Watching and Commenting Auston 🙏🏻. I guess I'm hard headed . I should wear more and might at a later date , but for now I'm not. I'm crazy I guess.

@@RayBowdenRidesHey Ray, I also live in Texas. I opted for an airbag vest for when I want to just wear a hoodie, pants and take the arm hit. It looks goofy but I get cut off a lot less and get the peace of mind, probably great for these reviews.
