I've been playing RC with some expected results, so now I've got to replace another plastic diffbin the typhon but the big rock ebay metal diff is holding up. What a lovely drive, i like sight seeing while your out haha. Hmm definitely need to get a personal phone in your possession asap. The bonnie is a legend of a bike lovely exhaust note and stylish for its day.

It's always Up and down in life mate. Better to focus on positive side of things and take a ride. I've had mine 76 T140V stolen 3 months ago. Got insurance money and today I'll get my "new" 77 T140V in beautiful shape and for a good price. Just keep going. Are you planning on making more vids about maintenance on the bike? I've found your 2 vids about front and back wheels very helpful. Would be great to see more stuff about engine and carbs! Keep riding and enjoying the bike!

Thank you for sharing your positive line of thought. I like it. I will indeed be servicing it this winter, carbs will come off, valves and ignition timing will be adjusted, and so on. The whole shebang. Speak soon! 🙂

Hey! You changed the color of the Bonnie. The pics you send me of the blue color has been big help. I found two spray cans of polychromatic blue and also 76 T140 30km from where I live 😄🇬🇧

Hi! Yes, I found a tank in the colour that I wanted, so now I have both and can change over if I feel like it. 🙂 Glad the pics were useful to you! Make sure to mark the location of the front edge of the tank badge somehow, as it follows the curvature of the tank. It is tempting to draw a straight line in between the screw holes, but it is a little more complex than it seems. Have fun respraying your tank! Let me know how it goes! Speak soon I hope.

Good stuff, like new paint scheme. When i go up gears i just touch lever to see if there is wee bit of play, then i know its in fifth. If its in a lower gear its tight, works for me. Anyway, my stator wire grommets are gone, got oil seeping out primary case where cable goes through. New ones in transit, £3.90 worth. Keep enjoying the Bonnie mate

You are killing me with these videos. I screwed up big time. I sold my 76' Bonneville like a fool and bought a 95' Triumoh Thunderbird. I had that Bonneville for 19 years. I'm here in America and currently ride a Harley-Davidson XL1200CX Roadster it's a Harley for people that don't like Harleys, I still want another Bonneville. In this video you mistakenly kick started your bike first with the key off at the petrol station, you only do that with a cold motor.

It is never too late to find a good one! Depending on where you are, there are a few specialised dealers out there. The first one to come to mind is Kaplan Motorcycles, who often seem to have T140V's in stock. I usually kick start like that to prime it, cold or hot. Maybe I am wrong to do so, but I have the feeling that sucking petrol into the cylinders helps it start better. Your thoughts on this are of course welcome, you have owned one longer than I have.
