Just ride an xca and love it. However, the windscreen is useless. Does that extra top piece help?

I really don't have anything to compare to but I would say that this bike did very well. I'm not even sure if it has a standard windshield on it.

I have a 2012 T100 and I'm looking for something better for higher speed higway use. Is this one good for that and what year motorcycle is it? 2018? Please advise.

Yes, this would be a great bike for the highway. It would do high speeds well. I think this one was a 2018. Ran great with that smooth 800 triple. Almost bought this bike. Wahoo!
