Woke up, fell out of bed Dragged a comb across my head* Found my way downstairs and drank a cup And looking up, I noticed I was late ... Then I saw this! Your finest work to date Del. Wow! Del, thank you so much for taking us on this journey. Seeing her out and about in the bright sun really shows the quality of the work that you have done. She wasn't meant to be a static display and it is fantastic that you are risking all of that hard work by going out on the street. Seeing the before and the after video shows the changes, as subtle as they are, shows just how much of a visual impact they make. I really have to give you props for that exhaust! That triple now sounds like a proper machine! Under load and accelerating (decelerating as well), with all the pops and snarls really made me feel as though I were there. If I hadn't been watching from the start I would swear that this was a different bike. Anyway, this is getting long winded. Fantastic work! I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future. Enjoy your weekend!

Just having a Bank Holiday weekend catch up of my favourite KZfaq chanel 🙂😁 Been waiting to finally see this beautifully transformed Triumph motorcycle out on the open road, once again Del !!!! You didn't disappoint !!!! What a fantastic looking and sounding machine !!!!!! I must admit, looking back from around 12 month's ago when you first unveiled your latest project, the Triumph TT Legend to us all, I didn't expect it to eventually look as amazing as it does now. WHAT A (TRANSFORMATION) I absolutely love how the bike looks and sounds, so contrasting from its original factory condition. Love how much more composed it looks with the rear of the bike raised up, it's completely changed the whole stance of the bike and how it sits rides out on the road. Bet you were grinning from ear to ear on your 1st ride ride out after all your hard work over the last year. I've just seen the comment off Penny saying your not feeling very well at the moment, wishing you a speedy recovery Del 🙏 and I'm looking forward to many many more of your future projects on your great channel ⏳ Best regards, Graham !

The bike is looking well, and fully sorted, great job, and my sorta style. I'm not sure if it was yourself who spoke of a restoration soon, it would be interesting (don't do an ER5 they appear to be extremely difficult to finish). I generally don't restore anymore as I like the patina many of my bikes have and would be sacrilege to do so. Maybe something British i.e. less chrome. Saying that my next project will be a restoration of a CBX6 I've had for about 10 years and "6's have to be mint", I pretty much did what you did here to a neglected 6 near 40 years ago though I also had to replace 4th gear in the gearbox. The best bike ever built "in my opinion". Take it easy and stay between the hedges, you don't wanna mark it.

This is just lovely! What an amazing series and final result! Respect! Thank you! The patience and level of detail (including filming and editing) is on another level. I seriously consider you contacting BBC to get your own show (FFS!). I've watched the 70 videos twice now. And I don't even own a bike nor have a motorcycle license, yet (I had several mopeds as a youngster though, spending a lot of time in dad's garage). My gf (who used to do motocross) probably think I've gone a bit mad watching all these videos. But this whole series has me seriously considering my options for next ("triumphant/legendary") spring/summer here in Sweden. Thank you so much! Give my love to Penny.

Hello Palle, how great to hear from you and thank you for your very kind words, it is much appreciated and we're so glad you enjoyed the series... it was a fabulous project that we really enjoyed along the way! It's a rare bike and not so popular, which is always a great motivator for a project as it presents interesting challenges for parts and accessories and, of course at the end, turns out a bike that's even more unique. Let's face it, lots of people do a cafe racer project on a Honda 750 or Triumph Bonneville, but something like this was completely unique and the bike is now safely in the hands of a proud new owner who loves it very much and shows it off all the time. Thank you for your very kind words on the TV show idea, we did once have a short collaboration with the Discovery Channel, sadly it was not for mainstream TV, only for their internet hub... but nevertheless, it was still great to work with a real production company! But sadly, with companies like the BBC, I'm sure they get requests 100 times a day and to get working with them I think they need to come knocking for you, and we know they watch the internet as there are many creators over the years who've developed TV careers from it, but mostly in music. Thank you again for your very kind words of support, we're just about to start a whole new make-over project on another rare bike and that'll begin next Friday with Part1, we hope you'll be watching! Have a great Sunday, all the very best, D&Px

I wish you a speedy recovery (pun intended and tongue in cheek)! //Love, Palle in Sweden P.s As I'm mainly in music production and sound editing, let me know if you ever need any help with de-noising, enhancement, editing, mixing, etc regarding sound. @@PalleSvensson Hi Palle. Thank you so much for your very kind words, i am feeling a lot better each day, but still a long way to go, i can't carry out my day job at the moment (driving a school bus) as the DVLA will keep my licence suspended probably until almost the new year at least... so im temporarily between jobs..lol!!! It's good to know that full health will return eventually and that many people are like your Father and still pumping strong many years later.. Thank you for your very kind offer with production, i have had to learn it all myself with no formal learning, just hands-on trial and error, and after 10 years i have the hang of it now, but still very far short of the professional guys i see in proper videos.. I use iMovie in a MAC, just the basic system, and i don't even know what things like "de-noising" actually are ?.. i get a lot of 'hiss' in my camera sound data, so i just reduce the volume a little and apply 50% reduction on the "noise" option.. just adjusting setting until things sound better to my untrained ear.. I would love to be better at post production, but as always there is only so much an amateur can do without formal training and better equipment... But im happy to take on board any advice from a professional like yourself if you think i can use it.. maybe drop me an email privately to 'moonfleet10@yahoo.co.uk' if you have any pearls of wisdom to help. Take care and keep safe Palle.. .with best regards. Del.

I was a bit worried at the beginning that the bike might lose some of its charm by the modification, but in my opinion you've modernised it, done some really classy upgrades, and created a great alternative to simply buying one of Triumph's new bikes. I love my Bonneville, but I'd think seriously about swapping it for this, if I could, knowing what care and skill has gone into the work.

Sorry I’ve had to revise my previous comments, this is the best custom Trumpy I’ve ever seen and in the top handful outright of any make IMHO. I keep thinking about it and rewatching. There’s a Legend TT around these parts, (South Australia), for a good price with low kms and I hate myself for being committed to multiple bikes at present so I can’t even justify snatching it up to mysmurf. Good grief, it’s 1st world problems again, Sheesh! Thanks again for sharing your content, much obliged Good Sir! 😎👍👍
