Trout Fishing On The Little Red River

This week I went back fly fishing for trout on The Little Red River in Heber Springs Arkansas. The weather and generation schedule was perfect again this week so I took advantage of it and made another the trip up to the Little Red River for a few hours of fly fishing. I did not catch as many fish this week but caught quite a few #flyfishing #flyfishingarkansas #Arkansas

It’s the John F. Kennedy Recreation Area & Campground, it's is located on the left, bank of the Little Red River just below the Greers Ferry Dam. It has 68 campsites with electricity (13 have water hookups), flush toilets, showers, drinking water, trailer dump station, launching ramp, playground and picnic shelter. It was named for President John F. Kennedy, whose dedication of the Dam was one of his last public appearances (Oct. 1963) before his assassination. Thanks for watching and the comment

@@intruder220 if you are going in the next few months I would check with one of the trout docks or the Ozark Angler on water release. The Corps of Engineers is going to open the spillway at some point because of the lake level and that will mess the fishing up for a while but if you get the chance to make it up there good luck to you and your wife, it's a beautiful area.
