If you take the lower plastic panel off first you can find the pin on the ignition cylinder easier.

Good Job. I did mine in about 1/2 hour. broke a couple of the tabs that hold on the connectors though. I don't think it will affect it. time will tell. my mechanic wanted $300 plus to replace it. thanks

Any idea why after installing the new switch and putting power to it I don't have turn signals? I've now bought 2 switches and neither give me turn signals. Emergency flashers yes. Turn signals no.

Should you disconnect the battery before taking the cyl out?

Tip on getting the ignition cylinder out. Use a mettal coat hanger. Just straighten out the curved part and use that to push into the pin that holds it in.

Just did this on mine and found the top clip loose and that was my only issue because the keeper was already broke off. Zip tie

Just replaced mine, worked fine til I put the covers back on, now its back to erratic blinking, but at least it blinks now lol. But I will have to I suppose look the wiring over and the connectors.
