Truck driving for the post office. I was a tractor trailer operator (TTO) for 3 months back in 2019. This is how my time went and what you can expect.

My plan is to go otr for a year then apply for usps. I don't have a cdl right now but signed up for a school. I will take the tto position almost anywhere in the country and move there. I like that its a pension and union.

I lost my job at Yellow Freight and tried to get on at other LTL carriers with no luck. I'm in the final phase of hiring with USPS as a TTO did fingerprints and drug tests. I will see how it goes can't be any harder than LTL I did that for 26 years if I like it I will stay if not I will leave.

As a tto you can’t be on the phone even with a truck or headset no phones at all. Do they at least have radios?

Yes I am, I currently work for pilot flying j as a refined fuel driver, it's a cool job, starts out at $31 an hr, got a job offer to work as a TTO for the post office but don't think I'm going to take the position because I won't be able to do Ot... I live in Chicago, the position starts at $31.54 an hr

I scored a 70 in the assessment and I’m waiting to hear something back. I’m currently relocating and am looking forward to work there. How long does it take to hear something back? I don’t want to end up working somewhere else and they contact me
