Sorry you are very mistaken, that bug is a single engine hybrid swamp hopper(genus-ugli-buggious-giganticious) Relative to the May Fly which may fly or it may not. This one prefers to ride in rusty Fords and feed on surface rust. It's a native to the Florida swamp and is solely responsible for wiping out an entire species of the 4 toed-razor back Sloth that used to roam the wetlands, plains and suburb's of Florida's pan handle and is why they went instinct today.

When we moved to Florida from Ohio I had a friend bring down my 2002 F250. Once it got here, first drive the front right caliper seized. Next drive, rear brake line blew. 3rd drive it made the trip to Lowes and back before the rear tank strap broke. By a new strap, no problem to fix. Go to remove the bed since that is pretty easy and helps when replacing the straps. Realized the only thing holding the bed on was the spray on bed liner. Everything else had rusted away. 😞 RIP beautiful 7.3.

Ray - for us “lie in the dirt” mechanics who have no idea how to use a lift, could you explain the basics of operating it sometime.

You drive the car over it. You push the button. Car goes up.😂😂 Sorry, I had to do that.

Problem is, that’s what I thought too, but then Ray is talking about breaking motors and valves and stuff

@@jbell987 I was just joking. Unfortunately a lot of people think that’s all you do. There is a lot to learn in the proper way to operate a lift. I’ve been doing it for over 40 years, and I still have a healthy respect when putting a car/truck on a lift.

Any time you lift weight from the floor, doesn't matter how much or how high, you have to make sure you know how to safely operate whatever lift gear you are using. Jack, hoist, chainfall, gantry crane, crowbar safety is all the same. Saw a guy use nylon straps to lift a 13,000 pound roller. He miss applied them by having them at too little of an angle over the sides of the roller. The straps were of t h e proper rating to handle the weight but were misused. The proper spreader beam was available to be used but wasn't. Fortunately it only dropped a few inches. In the end you cannot be too safe.
