Dave missed the point. It’s independent truckers getting shut down. Owner operators and small firms are getting pushed out. Freight that needs to be moved is moving! Economy is trash enabling excess supply ( ie Just trucking) to rely on other income streams or go out of business.

All part of the plan. They are trying to destroy the economy and usher in communism....the only way we put an end to it is all the truckers have to stand up and say no. Unfortunately which is why they are bringing in 3rd world truckers to run for a buck a mile, they will take anything compared to the pennies they made at home.

Just remember it isn’t all the broker. Shippers ask multiple brokers to bid loads. It is all about the willing buyer (shipper) and the willing seller (driver). Shippers frequently don’t care about the rate because it is usually passed on to the receiver. Hold your ground owner/operators we need you to be profitable. I have heard a wise drive say “know your worth.” !

Eliminate the brokers. They are not your friend. Contact the freight managers of companies within a 50-mile radius that have used you in the past. Re-introduce yourself and offer your direct service, when available, to reduce their cost, like a flat rate per mile. Use your business contacts to set up an LLC and get business insurance to protect the shipper. Take the broker's cheese. You only need 3 to 4 regular accounts.

I’ve looked into that myself but my concern is that you loose your freedom when you sign that contract with only 1 truck. You can’t just call the shipper and say nth I can’t do you loads today or this week. You need a couple trucks to cover for you when you need to take a day or week off!

when I got my TSA precheck I was told it was the same info needed for a TWIC card. That was in Washington state during Covid

Hey Justin if you’re interested in getting your TWIC card you have to find a place in your area that does federal background checks,bcuz they have to run your fingerprints and check your background first. I have one and I have do the same thing when I renew my hazmat.

I’ve been following your channel for quite a while. I also travel from Massachusetts down to Simpsonville quite often and I see record amounts trucks on the side of the road and that truck stops. It’s just weird how the rates are so low but the trucks are everywhere.

How you keeping your accounts active. This means you paying for 2 insurance. You need a active insurance to keep your authority on. Help out how doing it.

@@TruckDriver326 yes you do have to have insurance to stay active. But I’ve got it cut down to bare minimum. Just enough to keep it open. But that’s just in case if something happens where I’m at, then I can make a call to insurance and grab a load tomorrow. And not come back in as a “new” authority.

You know it would help your tire pressure is putting double check valve caps on all of the tires if I'm not mistaken I believe that's a DOT thing it's like a I know when I work for a rental company that there was something that we did was double-check valve caps on everything

Hi Buddy we have the same problem here in the UK. That is why i prefer night time trucking, you don't see it. When dawn comes you can see all the trash people have dumped on the moved from their vehicles. It's not on.

Grab a box of deposable gloves to perform that task. Think, your gloves that touched that bag is now touching everything in you’re storage and you take off the glove from cuff with other glove so that cuff is contaminated. It’s a not a Covid excuse it’s just been proper ppe removal for years touching human waste which contains at best c-dif. Easily spread through just contact. At worst coat the work gloves in alcohol but it’s expensive to soak gloves in hand sanitizer. I truly speak from experience as 4 tours in combat and I work in a max prison. Poo spreads disease like wild fire…..use good quality latex gloves if you feel inclined towards removing waste. Trust me the truck stop ain’t touching that unless told to and they are using latex gloves

Jesse says he always has seen driver's toss milk jugs in yie trash and its filled with stuff that driver's are to lazy to walk in the bathroom. When he was training a driver and he seen the driver use the bathroom in a milk jug. Jesse stopped and kicked him out. And said that's disgusting and jesse asked him if he jad to go to the bathroom and he said no. Like a minute later hes relieving himself. Our friend of ours tie drill sergeant blew his whistle and scared all of the kids (i woke Nana up first before he did it) the kids were like WTH was that. They quickly got up. They always get up wuen there cellphone's goes off. If not Jesse jas those battery powered drill looking things that sounds like a train horn. Load's today where pretty good. The driver's where pretty happy with the meeting and tjey said that's better to do flat ned trailer's and shipping containers (Uhaul) Jesse and both friends are going to be riding caise they have to head back home Thursday evening.

Check out the TSA website for TWIC card info you do have to get a background check and finger prints most TSA offices are near the ports and the card renews every five years I know you said you would never get them but they do give you a discount if you have or get your hazmat cause they use the same system on both definitely check out the website i think its like $125 bucks been had mine and hazmat for 12 years both definitely done paid for there selfs time and time again

Why do you use the loadboard i have people fine me loads so i always have a load like right now i am will be using a freinds grain truck and trailer tomorrow since my truck is waiting for a differential since the stuipd people cant find a right one for my truck and my tow truck needs the wheel lift cylinders needs to get rebuilt when that is done i will either use that to go to la to pick a truck or my other truck and pull my first load with the lowboy but i also i have a step deck that i haul
