What is it like to be a tourist in Malaysia? Foreign tourists talk about their experiences in Malaysia. How is it travelling in Malaysia in 2023? We filmed this episode in the heart of Kuala Lumpur in KLCC. We are looking for raw opinions. We don't make it better, we don't make it worse. How is it really to travel in Malaysia in 2023?
This is filmed around the Petronas Twin Towers; goo.gl/maps/4HjGemF1nFNhvgRn9

Already been to every well known asean country but I still preferred malaysia. I see many people saying singpore is way better and they are exactly correct but its not that much different than malaysia. If u are a big money spender and like to pay few more extra dollar for a little bit improvement to feel more comfortable then go to singapore, simple as that 😂 I don't want to be racist or calling them racist but I went to singapore with my african american friend (hes black if some people dont know what I mean) once and there is this group of chinese singaporean teen came to my friend and rubbing his skin saying its "dirty" and it won't go off 💀 dude what is wrong with them? Is this how they treat dark skin people? My friend just laughed it off but I know deep down inside he aint smiling. Compare to Malaysia, everyone of all age there treat him 100x times better. Who cares if that country belong in the third world country. What makes it better is the community and people. Also I wont lie malaysian accent and fluency of speaking english is on the top 🤣 easier to understand than other asean countries. No wonder Musk chose them over indoenesia 😅

The last couple in this video, judging from their diction, I think they are British from the UK , I like their views on Malaysia. Generally, foreigners or expatriates who live longer in a particular country, have the better experience and well versed about the country they live in. Good job on this interview. 😄

I don't know why I repeat myself, I really felt honored working with the KLCC project that built KLCC and the Petronas Twin Towers. Who would have thought, a former turf club, a horse race course, had been transformed into a brand new place, with the park designed by a famous Brazilian artist, the KLCC area is such a wonderful place. The camera never lies, I see the beauty of KLCC, everytime I see a vlog or video from tourists or travellers. 😄

At least on a personal basis, Malaysians are cleaner than Europeans. We wash our butts everytime we visit the toilet and not just wipe them with tissue paper. When I lived 4 years in the UK, me and other Malaysians there bathe regularly irrespective of the seasons. In winter, in the crowded tube we were also suffocated by the smell of cologne used to disguise the body odours 😅

I think tourists also need to be realistic. If you were to stay in a budget area and in the old, crowded part of the city, of course it wouldn't be as clean, as spacious and have the 'smell' as some of the tourists said. Europe is also the same; some parts are okay, and some parts are not. The not-so-good areas in Europe perpetually smell as well, of piss and such. Also, KL is more than just Chinatown!

I fully support our ex-Health Minister(KJ) on the Generation Endgame for tabacco. The problem is that the majority of politicians are heavy smokers and their voters are also heavy smokers. Durians are not allowed in Hotels. Most people follow the rule, Unless, they smuggled in. It is too easy to catch the smugglers, the smell will expose the culprits location. The housekeeper could easily find those durian seeds in the dustbin. I don't think it is the smell of durians, must be something else. I am sure it is cigarette.

Interesting! Kind of a "different" approach here: A tourist filming selfies, talking to and filming other tourists... Okey, I guess town itself here not so much to see, actually kind of boring: hot and damp, just some towers never near the highest anymore. Keep up the good work!

@@Chai_Travel with my wife we where talking he looks like mix guy but we cannot guess , yeah sure Indonesia Holland is full of immigrants from Indonesia because of the colonial time, you know Chai I really want to see videos from you from Myanamar as I comment in one video of you from Cambodia there are 3 countries I love very much from South East Asia , Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar, also Indonesia,I have also very sweet memories from Myanmar ( in the lovely city of Began I enjoyed a lot, many children come to me and I was teaching English and Spanish the time I was there) so I will pay attention to see when you post videos from Myanmar, I was there 1 month before the Tsunami, if I am not wrong you were already in Myanmar teaching English, you have to record Swedagon in the sunset time until became night because as you know is a magic time of the day to go there, thank you for your videos I like very much the way you interview people in a very friendly and polite way, carry on with your videos because South East Asian is the most beautiful corner of the world, today with my wife ( she is from Vientiane) we will see your videos from Laos, the lovely city of LP and so on , warm hugs Javi and Mai

Thanks so much for giving me some background of your interest in Myanmar and I’m pleased to hear you like what I’m doing :) at the moment it’s nearly impossible to go to Myanmar because of the current tragedy the country is going through. Luckily I’ve visited Myanmar as well for three week in 2013 and I definitely want to return and make a lot of videos about this great country. I hope for the best for them, and hopefully we’re able to go soon. Laos is definitely coming up again 🤩 maybe already before the end of the year. A big hug to you Javi and Mai 🤗
