Goku's perfected UI will be what he looks like at the end of Z...Base form.

Honestly I think this has to do with how goku viewed his saiyan heritage, he's never really fully accepted it ever since it was first introduced by raditz, he's always considered himself a saiyan raised on earth. It hasn't really been until broly that he even referred to himself as kakarot. I believe finding out what kind of saiyan his father was that he has really begun to reconcile it fully... his acceptance of who he is was key to finding his own true version of ultra instinct. He's no longer distancing himself from his heritage....

Here’s my take on it: I think TUI (True Ultra Instinct) is the ideal Ultra Instinct for Saiyans (specifically Goku) Gokus more comfortable and can fight efficiently with it. But it isn’t necessarily stronger than The Angels version of Ultra Instinct, since Angels are way more superior in terms of everything compared to saiyans. The Angels UI is stronger and more functional for any users. Ofc it didn’t work for Goku cause he doesn’t have the same training experience as the angels do with it, and the form is literally from the angels. But yeah that’s my take.

Because he learned from Bardock about winning to survive his survival instincts while using Ui is automatically making his body as strong as it needs to to survive and be aggressive and it suits him the best because emotions is a key factor for Goku's power.

I feel like they are slowly building up Goku's ultimate form being his base form. This was something that basically everyone talked about when Battle of Gods came out. The idea that so long as Goku still has to rely on transformations his power will be inefficient. Only once he perfects all of his power in his base form will he truly reach the pinnacle of efficiency, skill, and power. Once Goku finally perfects all of his power in his base form that's when I think he'll get his end of z blue gi.

“Survival Ultra Instinct” would make sense, foreshadowed by what Bardock said in the flashback.

I thought of it more of kind of doing the opposite to achieve a similar goal, whis and the angels seal there emotions away so there body is free to move efficiently, goku is hyper focusing on his emotions so his body can move emotionally, it's less efficient, but allows goku to draw power from his emotions and is stronger, his movements are not precise like silver, there blunt, he's still dodging and attacking without thinking but he's doing so in an emotional blunt way, more fitting to goku, it's kind of like the difference between a katana and a battle ax, both cut through the opponents, but the katana is precise and cleanly slices the opponents, while the battle ax is blunt and tears through the opponents, both have there merits and accomplish similar goals but with vastly different approaches, idk that's my idea.

ToP in anime, Omen was strictly stated as a defensive state. And when he “completed” it as in the silver hair form, he was able to easily go in the offensive. Not confused about it I just think everyone had to have their own interpretation about it.

Well the Perfected Ultra Instinct is still significantly stronger than the "Let me completely disregard the narrative behind the way this technique works" Ultra Instinct so we'll have to see.

I honestly think that since goku learned to tap into the form in the Moro arc the writers are now unable to genuinely decide what to do with the form. If they just waited a few arcs then it would have been better especially if both goku and vegeta learned ultra instinct and ultra ego in one arc near the end of the time skip before the end of z so that the "mastered" ultra instinct is exactly that, a form with no real stamina issues and begin able to use it to its fullest potential. All of these variations are counterintuitive with the general idea of ultra instinct being a state of being where you have to have an empty mind and calm spirit to be able to fight and evade with near perfect movements

It’s funny that you guys kind of touched on the subject but I have been practicing jujitsu for eight years and for the first time ever I had to use it in a fight a couple weeks ago I got attacked by an employee at this hotel and my adrenaline didn’t even kick in till afterwards when I realized I had just been in a fight I was calm was able to handle the situation and when I went back to my room my wife and I were talking and she goes if I didn’t see all the blood on your hands I wouldn’t of known that you were in a fight you’re so calm and you know after years of muscle memory and training every day sometimes twice a day for all these years it felt like another down the mats is what it felt like…. I wasn’t angry I was just more confused of why the guy had to elevate it to that extent to attack me I was pretty humble about it I didn’t even call the police I warned the guy over and over not to do this… Absolutely crazy

My Theory: True Ultra Instinct is the upgraded form Ultra Instinct Omen with the Offensive and Defensive sides activated with Goku’s emotions flowing through him. Plus Goku already unlocked this form of Ultra Instinct with Merus and faced Moro with it before he used MUI. This form is basically what we have already seen but it only uses about 25 or 50% of Ultra Instinct’s true power. The anime makes it easier to explain as that during the fight with Kefla and during his second fight in Omen, Goku’s attacks did no real damage. Now Goku is able to do damage to his opponents but he isn’t as powerful as Silver Haired Ultra Instinct. He would now be able to use his survival instincts, and his regular power in a more effective way than most of it being 75% Defensive and 25% Offensive.

I think the way to interpret UI in Goku's case is that this is the midway point between Omen and Mastered. It allows him to retain his sense of self while fighting and not burn through his stamina as hard as his body pushes itself beyond his normal means. In a way mastered form is like a perpetual Kaioken. In the strain it places on the body to push beyond what his mind can perceive as he fights. UI is not meant to really be used by anyone but the Angels. Mortals can grasp the methodology behind it as Roshi did. And those with God Ki can tap into a more realized state. What Bardock did is still a mystery and it could very well be Monaito asked the dragon to see Bardock survive this fight and it was granted as an extra of sorts. The whims of the dragons are very sporadic within how they can grant wishes. The will of the person seems to impact usually given Bardock could refuse to be wished away. It does bring about the will of Gas though given the wish Elec made.would surely kill him. Gas allowed this within belief of his brother though. All that aside in my ramble there. It is just a balance of the two forms that puts the least amount of strain on Goku while maximizing his ability to fight like himself.

I think ToP version of UI is highly incompatible with saiyan race. They use rage and anger to become stronger but in UI it requires him to lose him his emotions. So i think thats why goku was much powerful in his new version which allows him to utilise his rage to intensify his strength, stamina, speed and durability

Is it his best ultra instinct....if he still goes into mastered ui to finish the job? They simply just have no idea what they're doing.

I like the Ancient lore and buddhism behind Goku's Form. I also feel like they are leading Goku's character to enlightment much like DBGT ending.

If Toyotaro wants Goku to be able to use UI in his base form, how about he allows Goku to use only 25-50% of UI in his base form, and 75% in his Super Saiyan form and 100% in MUI. This would make Goku’s Super Saiyan form more important again and it would also limit the amount of transformations Goku does which will reserve more of his power.

Mastering your instincts isn’t easy, the fact he’s going up and down with this struggle actually makes sense because mastering your emotions don’t just happen outta the blue. The same amount of effort he put into fighting is the same amount of effort that needs to be put into emotional management. He’s trying to turn himself into something against his natural instinct. That takes a lot of trial and error

I think they just realize that the omen UI look cooler,more popular and more profitable than the master UI

My take is that he's not used to having a clear mind throughout all of his fights so the superior silver haired UI ends up not working. With the omen version, he'll be using a weaker UI state but can fight with his natural instincts. I agree with many people here that say that he'll eventually be able to stack ssj forms onto omen to make up for the power difference

This is exactly what he did against Moro prior to Merus fighting Moro and Merus was saying it was a problem because that's not how he should be using it, and Moro clapped him because of it and Goku using UI incorrectly. Ultra Instinct seems to be related to descriptions of Classical Enlightenment and it’s that sort of journey that Goku is going through.

Assuming TUI actually is UIO in base-form, I'm wondering if we're going to get a new SSj transformation in a future arc, or even a new line-up of SSj forms. Sort of like a form similar to the OG SSj-form, but with silver eyes and a purple-white inner-aura. It would make sense, since Goku can now make use of his emotions and Saiyan-instincts while in UI, which is needed to go into SSj.

I never understood why UI required a transformation, I thought it should've just been a technique or state of mind.

Goku using omen UI has loft of benefits 1) he can still benefit from the speed boost that UI gives and dodge attacks based on instinct alone when he is on the defensive 2) He can also simultaneously tap into saiyan emotions when he is on the offensive So basically this gives goku the flexibility of choosing when to use UI technique ( not form ) And when to switch to rage based fighting style .. and he can do this switching in an instant And this is not even the big picture...getting rid of silver form is necessary if goku wants to make UI as his base state of mind and Body , which is must easier to do with omen Then from there he can use UI technique on top of any forms he is familiar with so far..plus this gives him the flexibility to explore even further god forms ... the silver transformation was limiting all of this To be honest, I don't even think goku and vegeta have even mastered super saiyan god forms...how can a literal god..be beat so easily by mortal not using god form is laughable

I just think MUI was more or less a forced technique because he didn't seem himself in it. It's almost like he used MUI to almost Gauge a balance between offense and defense and create his own form of it that is easier to build upon. I also believe this gives him that sense of Godliness mixed with his regular personality

We have Ultra Ego: Provides the greatest Damage received to potential power output exchange rate but must be consciously output by the user, Ultra Instinct: No Damage to Power exchange but automatically does what is necessary to prevent or mitigate damage received, and the new Ultra Instinct Omen: mostly effective at automatically preventing or mitigating damage AND mostly effective at exchanging damage for automatic power output. So UE has the highest possible damage to power rate but it has to be consciously used, followed by UIO but it happens automatically, then by UI with no power boost; and UI has the most efficient form of damage mitigation, followed by UIO, and that by UE. It's a spectrum and Omen falls in the middle. Also when I say UI has no power boost I mean that the form itself doesn't really provide one. Goku has to momentarily focus up and put conscious effort into how much power he uses and when to attack. Because those moments can be difficult to come by, he puts as much power behind each attack that he can. He is riding the autonomous movement wave and consciously busting out sick tricks when the moment presents itself. With UIO he doesn't have to worry about timing or power output of attacks. His body just does it. I think UIO is the ideal state of being for most fights; but there are situations where UI and UE could be more beneficial. UE can tank and has insane DPS, UI can keep you alive to continue the fight, and UIO is just what you use in every other situation. The Super Squad needs a more dedicated healer; especially if Vegeta is gonna Vegeta. What good is all that power if he's dead? Maybe we'll see some healing come out of Orange Piccolo. He seems to be ideal for support. That could be fun.

I honestly hope we get to see Vegeta learn from this and attempt to follow Goku's example for Ultra Ego mastering a hypothetical Ultra Ego Omen if you will. One that does have similar benefits albeit not as strong as the true Ultra Ego, but doesn't force Vegeta to be in a complete Destroyer mindset and lose himself completely in the battle craze. Creating his own True Ultra Ego where he can tap into God of Destruction energy and gets even stronger every time he's hit. Plus as fanfictiony as this idea sounds on paper, I'd like to see Gogeta or Vegito take a page out of Ryu's book like he did in the UDON comics by combining his dark Satsui no Hado with the Power of Nothingness, creating a balance of light and darkness that was dubbed as Shin Ryu. So it would be cool if the hypothetical True Ultra Ego and True Ultra Instinct were used in tandem with each other since while the GODS like Beerus have proven they can't use Ultra Instinct proper as you've mentioned in your Ultra Ego video due to having to be in a destroyer mindset. Meaning I don't think the Perfected versions of either forms would be compatible due to their wildly different natures. However if we're talking about the Omen or True versions of Ultra Instinct and, hypothetically speaking, Ultra Ego, then considering True Ultra Instinct allows Goku to not have to fully keep his emotions in check and a True Ultra Ego would allow Vegeta to not have to keep a thinking and acting like a God of Destruction, the forms would likely be more compatible with each other and balance out each other's flaws. For example while UI Omen is purely defensive with incredible agility and such, it lacks offensive abilities that the Mastered version possessed but with UE Omen and it's destroyer power and even when they do take hits they can't dodge, they get stronger thanks to the power of Ultra Ego. They can even use the Hakai and such for defense such as destroying or negating any powerful ki blasts and such. In short, I just really hope True Ultra Instinct is a sign of the direction the Manga will be taking Vegeta in the future even if he's following his own path separate from Goku it's clear that Bardock is the example that both Goku *and* Vegeta need to learn from if Vegeta wants to overcome the flaws of his recent form. Also because a fusion using both True forms is the only way I can reasonably see it working if not even the GODS can use it properly.

UI Omen can be to True UI as a technique what SSG is to SSB as a transformation. Omen and SSB let that saiyan side skyrocket, while True UI and SSG let Goku's martial/psychological talent show

seems much like with in the tournement of power and more so in other media, the silver hair form is gunna be the trumpcard/fail safe last resort that kicks in when he is in a fight and otherwise knocked out cold, like we saw near the end of the latest chapter when just before he manifested that ki construct

I hope they do a similar path with Vegeta where he learns to access full power ultra ego, and as he continues using ue, he finds a different method that is similar but cuts against the mindset he needs to utilize in that form like how goku is using ui without the calm heart

I think not only is there phases of mastered MUI but also MI-Omen. Goku is going through different mindsets and experimentation with UI. He was using UI in different God Forms. I'm not sure but I think this is the 1st time he fought Gas in the black hair form

Its like that comparison when a human is in fight or flight mode, or survival as one would call it. Super human abilities like strength when a mother lifts a car off her baby and other feats like that. Offense and Defense for Goku stronger then he has ever been.

Merus, the other angels, and the grand priest all use MUI because it fits them perfectly. But they all use it to different degrees. If whis is right about Goku not being able to perfectly imitate the angles and him really being at a lower level than every other MUI user: UI omen (now True UI) maybe his most efficient version because he's a Saiyan and a mortal. But if he's weaker than every UI user in MUI, that means the angels trained past it and sees MUI as the basic level. For Goku, this would be UI omen. His path to strength may now be higher trained levels of this imperfect form. I say he can't train his MUI to higher levels only because whis says Goku can't progress in the Divine state of MUI. I could be wrong, but it's obvious that his Omen is better in his within his grasp.

You guys made a good effort here but, the truth is, the way these things were written, there's no way to make sense of it. Everything contradicts itself. Does this mean that this new UI doesn't drain Goku's stamina as the original Omen did?

MUI in Moro arc was the pinnacle of UI in my opinion and then they basically retconned it in the very next arc lol

One reason why i think that they have pulled back on actual ultra instinct is because Goku had become invincible with that form or rather unbeatable, so they scaled the power down to make him relevant to the story again...its like when your salary account gets credited in double digit and they decide to pull back the excess...😁

Once goku trains in true ui, i hope that the energy consumption is reduced, so that he can use it more often without running out of energy so quickly
