Appreciate this content. I’ll be buying plastic for my Quattro 15 doomsday rifle. But Danm is expensive! I hope they offer bulk purchase options soon!!

Glad I could help. I have a video where I talk about stockpiling, and I talk about buying just a couple extra boxes every time you buy ammo. Maybe that’d work

Good video. I really liked the discussion towards the end comparing weight saved with combat loads. Not worth it for me, but I also am not carrying combat loads, and I also need more potent ammo for my 10.5” than m193, I like black hills 77tmk for my shtf setup.

🇦🇺😎👍I’ve never come across those rds mate. I have heard about them on the net but had no contact…PMC 223 is the cheapest available down here at $85 /100rds , at a cheap shot. No steel case or cheaper options… Great video Mate , have a nice day big guy

I thought it was interesting that the ejection pattern was vastly different between the M193 and True Velocity whenever making contact with the A2 deflector. Personally I think those numbers should be in the video in a condensed form, with averages and low/high. I liked how you listed out the specs at the very beginning of the video on the rifles. Good video regardless!

I remember when Natec introduced this same ammo around ~2004. Same time Remington introduced their electronic EtronX ammo. I dont think the polymer cases really caught on due to the hefty price tag & that you can't reload the cases. You would think plastic cases would be cheaper to make than steel, but I bet steel is cheaper & easier.

Great video as usual…2 comments-did your triangle handguard finally give out?😉. Also, just a tip to share related to another commenter: I have started using H1 buffers in my carbines, and found that if I buy just one H3, the weights will allow me to convert 3 carbine buffers to H1’s..money saving tip!

Good tip! The teeth that hold it sturdy with the barrel nut have been worn off for a while, but I just recently noticed that that’s why they were loose. I’d like to replace them someday, but for now I’m rocking the Paul Harrell Special. I can certainly see why he likes it.

Ill stick with brass cased ammo. Cheaper,reloadable,and almost just as accurate and in some cases faster. They can keep the plastic.

I really think this ammo is pretty much tailored to the 16 or 18 inch barrels as they are the more common barrel lengths for 5.56 these days. I genuinely think this stuff can be tweaked and worked on more. And its also tailored to a 1:7 twist barrel. Not a 1:9 twist. Not only that, the fact these can be made out of recycled plastics and reused in that regard makes them VASTLY cheaper to manufacture in the long run.. plus, it'll probably start becoming much more popular and common given that the US military is supposedly starting to use polymer cased ammo.
