I can relate to not being able to drink from a glass. I have an auto immune disorder that is very painful, to the point where sometimes I can barely get a fork to my mouth, let alone pick up a glass of water. I used a lot of straws before a medication was found that helped.

Totally agree with you, but on the other hand it's funny that the judge has called donnie's bluff! He _has_ to go now! Plus, I hate the environmental impact of him going backwards and forwards, but just think how much this is all costing him in aviation fuel $$$$

Getting calls from your work on your day off. Asking you to come in. Putting your reputation on the line because the management is incapable of arranging the work schedule or the staff in a way that works. Can be very stressful and is actually inhumane. We get 2 days off a week and we god damn deserve it. F you for trying to take extra from us.

The people who support Donald Trump love him because they want to be him - rich enough (from being given tens of millions by his father, not by working) to behave as boorishly as you want with no consequence. yep, i am not sure how Kimmel could see this as weird… its a brilliant piece of employee protection law, making sure, that they cant call you on your holiday to tell you that your holiday just got cancelled (and somehow magically should appear in the office next morning while you are half a planet away) - or to send you “urgent” emails on a saturday night and expect you to work on it and complete it by monday morning… anyway… that was pretty weird

I'm also not sure why an employer should need to pester an employee outside of work hours. (I'm English, it's not really usual here, you are paid for your work time, not to be hassled 24/7). There are obviously some jobs where this is entirely acceptable, but for the ordinary working person, you should be able to switch off when you leave the workplace and enjoy your leisure time.

We have the same law here in Portugal. It works wonders on your mental health, I assure you. The law here is as follows, exact quote "Outside working hours, the employee has the right to turn off all service communication systems with the employer or not to comply with the employer's requests. In turn, the employer must refrain from contacting the employee during the rest period. The employee has the right to choose not to contact the employer, while the employer is denied the possibility of contacting the employee."
