@Sma 556 nice! The thing is obstruction itself isn't a crime. It's a broad term for other crimes under that title. If Trump did not complete an obstruction objective than he could only be charged with an attempt to obstruct. So it wouldn't even be a severe title. Like murder and attempted murder. It's a lesser offense. So even if they had something the investigation was never stopped. Therefore obstruction never occurred in its entirety.

but.... that's the point....... the president shouldn't have extraordinary power to do jackshit without consequence, yet somehow this knucklehead (among others, but to a lesser public degree) has managed to get away with some pretty messed up shit. Trump had little to no evidence/reasonable grounds to fire Comey other than Comey not suiting Trump's personal wishes. He does have authority to direct people, but America was established on the foundation of checks and balances to ensure a separation of power; to ensure that one man cannot have the ability to run a corrupt state. lol irony

You're right, I don't like Trump. Mainly because of his the various actions that have given me reason not to like him/his politics/everything he stands for. But aside from that, my main point here is that he is trying to justify his abuse of power, which I think is really quite dangerous. It is completely in opposition to the checks and balances that are supposed to be in place. But you do you, I guess. If you really do in your heart think Trump is a cool dude that you would crack a cold one with then I think we just will innately disagree with each other.

His son and son in law admitted to having received an email that said the russians helped him. flynn and papadawhatever admitted to contacting russians for collusion purposes. There is no way trump didn't know. I mean, unless you had set up a meeting for collusion on your dad's behalf, you would definitely at least tell your dad if you got an email saying the russians are helping him to get elected, wouldn't you? So either trump gave the order or was told about it. Either way he's guilty because he didn't tell the FBI. The only reason he is not impeached yet is this maffia setup where the leader tells a guy to tell a guy to collude, and then everyone claims "I do not recall" and in the end the leader is fine. Unless one of the proxies admits to having received the order, which is what the FBI are after. So yes, we do know, but we don't have proof that will survive in court, yet.
