well I have done all the hard digging and found an article written by a student who once asked Mendez this very question.
In this video I talk about how Mendez practised double tonguing and how you can be as good as the master himself.

When Rafael was a kid he was called TuKuTuKu. He used to walk around practicing double tongue. So it was not only Arban that made him play double and triple so excellent later in life

i need help. I can say the syllables “tu ku” i just dont know how to buzz it in my mouthpiece like I don’t know what to do with my tongue and air in the mouthpiece please help me i really want to learn

Hi Issac, Do you get a good Tu when you usually articulate on the Trumpet? If yes then just continue to practice slowly and to Ku will come good. If not, Spend time working on getting the Tu to work first. Try using less movement of the tongue. You dont need to move a lot of the tongue to get the desired result. Just enough to interrupt the air stream and create the clear start of the next note. #HappyPractising

In your practice guide you recommend Arban and Clarke. I don't have either but I have a Concone (for low voice), which you also recommend. Is this ok or I must have the Clarke and Arban? I'm not sure if I can get them at my location. I don't like using Amazon.

Hi Elson, There are many ways to practice the trumpet. There isnt a need for specific books as we can adapt many exercises to get the bennefits we aim for. and how can I get the double tonguing with circular breathing as in Moto Perpetuo by Mendez or Cello Concerto by Haydn played by Nakariakov?

Hi Renan, I would need to learn circular breathing to be able to comment on this. When I spent time with Sergei Nakaraiakov many years ago. He said he played the same way weather he was circular breathing or regular breathing

while practicing the exercise and pronouncing Tu ku Tu ku in lower note, it feels as if my teeth are hitting each other

if your teeth are hitting each other, you need to separate your teeth more by opening your mouth more but keeping your lips in a similar place. You really want to have as open a mouth cavity as possible to create the most resonant sound possible.
