She has yet to master the art of concentration. Every time when we're hoping that she will skate a clean performance, she ends up falling and making silly mistakes. I really would like to see her take gold as well. She really needs an important title under her belt as a senior skater.

I disagree with the placement. Anna had an epic comeback but Sasha should have had a much bigger short program lead. Anna should have been in 8th if not lower after the short program. Girls placed 5-8 all successfully landed their solo jump and 3-3 combos, and they all had better SS, how could you possibly justify Anna placing above them? Should’ve been Kamila Sasha Anna

she is over score she did have a clean program but she only landed one quad Kamila landed 2 quads and they have the same score

For her free yes she deserved to be higher than Sasha but although it wasn't Kamila's best, their FS scores shouldn't be this close. Also, we can't deny the fact that with that fall in the short, her short program score should have been much lower :/. She has amazing willpower but it is impossible to deny that she gets overscored more than any other female skater at this point.

Kamila lost 7 points from 101 she had after the judges checked the program in slow mode. Nothing to do with Anna. Anna is the only one who had a very clean program and didn't loose points after slow mode.

Well your opinion doesn't matter. It is the judges who know how to judge the routines based on the technical, the higher the grade of challenge the element is, and presentation. Kamila is the reigning record breaker and has won the last 3 major competitions, Rostlecup, Russia Nations and European National, because she is the BEST skater in all aspects, it is the whole package.

She fell so negative GOE and mandatory deduction. However, she got her rotations in so the base value doesn’t change. Thus, the negative GOE is subtracted from the base value of a 3A not a 2A. If she fell and underrotated, her jump would’ve been downgraded so in addition to mandatory deduction, her base value is being downgraded to a 2A and the negative GOE is being applied to the base value 2A, so she’ll get less points.

@@beepisbean6130 No problem! Also, the exit edge actually should play a role in scoring, specifically, landing on the incorrect edge should be reflected within GOE according to the isu handbook. So Kamila should actually be docked in GOE for every single one of her jumps because she only lands on the inside edge, which is incorrect. However, because of corrupt judging, she’s never called out for it. This goes with a lot of other skaters but she’s the only one I can think of that has a consistent issue with landing on the inside.

@@funsies7147 According to your logic Anna should never get positive GOE on any of her jumps since all of them are seriously flawed. In fact, her exit edge is about the only part of the jump that is usually fine but every other part of the jump should get negative GOE. Inside landing edge or not, at least Kamila can jump true quads and a true triple axel.

As far as I know it works like this. When they fall or have any other technical error like step out they got the respective minus score but if they complete the jump before falling (like if 4 turns are completed before fall) they are also evaluated by their jump. Like if she jumped beautifully with arms overhead and tight air position she would normally get around +2-3 GEO so they calculate this and then subtract the -5. So even if they fall some skaters can get -2 or -3s sometimes.

My comment was deleted somehow. No it is not a rule like that. Note falls get a deduction from the overall score (-1 for first two falls I believe). The GOE is separate and doesn’t have to be -5 just because of fall. It was negative for her but doesn’t have to be a max of -5 (and rarely is). Lowest and highest GIE is dropped and then still averaged on a scale. GOE is affected by jump entry and exit (complexity, speed, flow…) as well as in air aspects of jump. So naturally not all falls (or landings) will get same GOE. Arm positions can be factored in too but for a fall to not get -5 GOE is not unusual, nor just because of arms and “falling nicer” as you mock it. The reason why people still jump despite risking a fall is because jumping with falls score better than no jumps at all.

The average viewer does not understand how the judges evaluate the elements of technical and performance. So what we see is NOT what they see in the same way.

Anna had an unfortunate fall in the short. The rest of her skate was fine. Amazing comeback in the free! Even if Anna is a bit overscored, so was Sasha in the short and given the skates they did in the free, it was a fair result overall!

Kamila tuvo bastantes errorcitos en sus saltos, más caída, Anna un poco de ayuda con ese 4 flip y no tuvo cáidas,pero así a muchos varones los perdonan. Lo que si me parece una exageración con los componentes de kamila en su primera temporada como senior( respecto al bolero) aún no está al mismo nivel de componentes de anna.

Second I’m not talking about quads, I’m talking about jumping technique and undeserving GOEs in general. I value everything that figure skating is supposed to be, great skating skills and artistry - Yuzuru is literally my favorite skater. Anna is an amazing skater with such strong mentality and it was impressive watching her being able to skate a program like that after the short. But the scores and GOEs she got were not deserved and that’s on the JUDGES. She got no call on her 4F which at least q or underrotated and please explain how she got 94 with only one quad? It’s insanity, not even Yuzuru could make that happen. And just for your information, Jason brown is my second favorite male skater.

@@aspannas Loena got no call on her Flutz or flat edge lutz in the SP but are called in the FP, Sasha got no call on her 4Lip (wrong edge flip), while the judges are calling some (eg. kurakova, safonova, Ryabova) wrong edges. This happens all the time. You're not going to say Leona have Russian or Eteri bonus? We blame the judges not hating the skaters, but the judges are not necessary playing favour or bribed, they can't watch the jumps in slow mo and some skaters jumped from certain angle that it's hard of the judges to see.

They would have to really mess the things up to put someone else over them. You see how bored Trusova programme just because she spend most of time for preparation of jumping. No transition, no artistic at all. For Kamila even has quad but programme was great.

В смысле топчется? Над непрыжковыми явно работала, это заметно. По прыжкам... тот же 4T она после перелома не прыгала и уже не будет. Но у нее 2 старших дорогих квада и она единственная сейчас в женской одиночке, кто прыгает лутц-ритт (у Саши из программ он давно исчез из-за нестабильности, она начала его валить еще в 2020-м). Куда Щербакова должна расти? Пусть шлифует то, что имеет. Ее задача сейчас - сохранить и стабилизировать свой набор, ей ведь 18 уже через два месяца. Да и кто растет-то ее возраста? Алена?

А за что Валиеву прессовать? Её никогда за уши не тянули, она не была «героем России». Она имеет право на ошибку.

Дело в том, что Ками даже с падением, набирает по компонентам больше, чем остальные девочки. У неё программа "дороже". Она прыгает 3А, который больше никто и не пытается включать в свои программы (кроме Косторной), а у неё он в обеих. Дорожки шагов у неё дороже, чем у Ани. О каком позоре Вы пишите?
