Yeah I agree and it would be cool if sumeru is based entirely on Egypt because I really like ancient Egypt with the pyramids and stuff so it would be cool to have pyramids in sumeru and like a world quest related to the pyramids if there were pyramids in sumeru

I'm so ready to get Dendro Traveller. Electro was kinda underwhelming. With Dendro, I suppose it's gonna be fun no matter what since it'll most likely be our first ever taste of how Dendro works. Even if it's underwhelmingly simple, it's still a unique Element. Until Yaoyao and Baizhu comes.

Personally, I think all of them are equally interesting in their own way. I've read theories of the Dendro Archon and I think they're rather intriguing. Some theories with the Hydro Archon about some sort of crime scene and covering it up to appear sinless. And I like how interesting the Tsaritsa is too, with the collecting of the gnosis and forming the Fatui for something.

@@siriusly6321 I find al lthe archon's lore intruiging but dendro, I don't even know where to start. We barely know the element and we barely know the archon (from the gemstone). But as of now, I find the hydro archon sus. Fontaine is basically a facade for somethinh criminal and her grace and purity is definetly a mask to hide her narcissisism (idl spelling). Hence the two faced hydro users; Ajax, Kokomi, Barbara, and Xingqiu. And for a stretch, I bet Ayato

@@kasumi4055 There's going to be a follow up to the Watatsumi Moon Bathed Deep quest I believe, similar to Seirai's feather artifact finishing that quest gives you a key to Ekanomiya and the quest-giver tells you to come back later for when you will descend into the depths. I believe it'll be an exploration area like the other underground sections of Inazuma?

Why so many people confused what Sumeru is based on? Whether it's Egypt, Arab, or India🗿 Egypt and Arab share the same language which is Arabic Language. When people saying Arab, it doesn't automatically mean the country of Saudi Arabia. Arab, can be UAE, Syria, Iraq, or even Egypt. Isn't Sumeru India? Yes, it also India, the word "Purana", "Sumeru", are Indian words. Sumeru is literally Sassanid Empire (today's modern country: Egypt, Iraq, Iran/Persia, Pakistan, and small part of India) NPC name are mostly arabic (Sayid, Anisa, Alrani, Hosseini, Vahid, etc.)

Yup it surely is a mix of culture. Just pointing out that Sumeru is literally taken from the Sumeru Mountain located in India! And the archon's name Kusanali is taken from an ancient indian language called pali :D (learnt in history at school lol and well it's also mentioned in mihoyo's official site) Anyway super hyped :D

It is surprising how you caught the choir, which is always playing in Sanctuary of Surasthana. This quite foreshadows (unintentionally) the whole vibe and the element of Sumeru Archon Quest. Urgent, mysterious and breath taking, quite melancholic too. Arigatou for this.

i kinda do agree that it sounds AMAZING,, but it's not exactly a fair comparison since the sumeru teaser ost was just a bgm for the teaser. also the sumeru teaser ost fits the "new" and adventurous mood the sumeru scenery gives us, while this fanmade one fits a more "battle-y" or grander theme. we haven't even heard 99% of what sumeru has to offer yet soooooo

Why does it feel like Sumeru's going to give us puzzles that can only be solved by using the lore we've read/seen from the side quests and artifacts?!?!? Like, you're stuck in the middle of a desert and you have to take a history exam just to survive.

It says in the Teyvat Chapter Storyline that "In the city of scholars, there is a push for folly, yet the God of Wisdom makes no argument against it." I believe that Sumeru has a high crime rate, but I still don't have a reason why the region's Archon would be okay with it. I am very interested to see what Hoyoverse has in store for us.

I think its probably because Kusinali is quite naive and young to become a goddess. Like she haven't faced the Archon war and didn't even experience the cataclysm 500 years ago since it probably happened in the exact time she was born or even before she was born. Anyway, its just my speculation.

@@juanito5582 Yes I can see where you are coming from. It is obvious she is not quite as experienced as the 3 previous Archons we have seen. Why I am saying this is because she looks like a person who JUST (just as in a few hundred years ago) became an Archon. But seeing the new teaser for Sumeru, I believe that while its crime rate should be higher than Liyue's or Inazuma's, it is not going to be as serious as I initially thought. Considering that the 3 Archons we have met were victors of the Archon war, things may be different for the other regions.

One theory speculates that the Dendro Archon wants its people to remain ignorant because she doesn't want to let her people suffer from what Khaenri'ah experienced. Remember that due to the outstanding advancement of knowledge and technology of Khaenri'ah, they challenged the Gods of Celestia. Also, I have mixed agreement with the "naive-ness" of the Dendro Archon. Some theory speculates the current Archon is the former and original Archon's shadow. If we follow the rules of propagation in planting, a graft or seed may have been left by the original Archon to preserve the knowledge within. Though, this is just a theory.
