Rather than trust his own insight, David went down to the stronghold and inquired of the Lord. In response, God commanded David into battle and promised to deliver the enemy into his hands. The Lord is a mighty Warrior-King committed to showing Himself strong for His people, explains Alistair Begg. No rulers or powers can ultimately harm those who take refuge in Him.
