The thing I love about the proposal is that that guy knew his girlfriend would enthusiastically volunteer to interact with the bird. She must love birds or animals in general and so he picked a great way to propose. I don't love public proposals but if you know your partner will like it and you know they'll say yes because you've discussed getting married, then i think it can be really sweet.

Rule #1: Know your audience. He knew it was a great idea from the start. If you're unsure about this one, it's already a no-go.

😂 mine is triggered by the sound of someone vomiting or hacking up a lougie. This includes the sound when I'm vomiting. It's a horrible cycle when I'm sick.

My daughter has it to anyone loud eating/chewing. But me. I get like outraged at mowers and the sound of jet skis. I seriously have to put noise canceling headphones when people mow close to the house abd my husband mowing. But if im mowing its not as bad. Maybe its because it is so loud. Jet skis tho. I just want to closeline every one of those noisy buzzy things on the lake.

I hate hearing other people throwing up because I gag too. When I hear people scraping their metal fork against their teeth, or two pieces of silverware dragged together, it makes my stomach upset and it feels like someone I'd scraping metal against my teeth. Even thinking about it causes a small reaction.

I hate when proposals are done in public, to me it shouldn't involve other people. But that one was very beautiful from start to finish. The man knew his girlfriend would volunteer and that's great. And I must say I find this lady very charming. She irradiates joy, as well as something mystical, almost like she was a fairy. I know it sounds weird, but there's something calming about her energy. And that final hug... My guy just got the perfect girl for him and I really wish them a long and happy life. They are beautiful people with a beautiful soul 🤍

Stop it! I lived with a roommate that had a legit fear of styrofoam and I thought he was the only one. He took off running when he opened a package for Christmas and it was filled with styrofoam, didn’t even stop to see what was inside it. Said that the sound and texture set him on edge.

For me, the sound seems to activate every fight-or-flight response receptor in my body. I have to keep myself VERY still/stiff when transporting take-out. Even just the feel of Styrofoam can raise my hackles.
