In today's video, I give you The true secret to Never Miss a Shot Short, and I also show you what the pros do and what the most common shooting fundamentals are from the best shooters in the world. Make sure you pay close attention throughout the video so you can Instantly Increase Shooting Consistency! These simple basketball shooting techniques are super easy to implement for players at every level. By implementing these tips into your game you can almost immediately skyrocket your basketball shooting percentage!
My first talking point I dive in and explain to you my the pros secret to never miss a shot short. The secret to never missing short is actually very simple, but often goes overlooked when shooting the basketball. I always make sure that my hips are loaded when shooting this is the number one key to not missing any shot short. If we look at the best shooters in the NBA think of guys like Trae Young and Steph Curry they have an optimized form that helps them keep their shot repeatable and fluid. Both shooters all get phenomenal power when shooting and it's because there is essentially zero wasted motion. When it comes to figuring out why you're missing shots short making sure your form is optimized and your hips are loaded is essential. Later I walk you through a few basketball shooting drills to make sure we are optimizing your shooting form which will, in turn, help you bust you Never Miss a Shot Short again!
After that, we talk a ton about the little details of shooting the basketball from making sure you are working out in a manner that will help you be effective shooting the ball in a real game. I also dive in and talk to you about the most important part of shooting a basketball, and that is having confidence. This can seriously be the biggest factor between being an ok shooter to becoming a GREAT shooter.
As always make sure you are paying close attention to these basketball shooting tips so when the time comes you can really expand your game to the next level! Watch the video all the way through and make sure you aren't making this one crucial mistake on your jump shot. This will instantly increase your shooting consistency! Keep in mind that these shooting fundamentals are incredibly important to your jump shot! I always recommend that you experiment with all the options I present you with throughout the full video and see what option gives you the best results.

Great video! I just found your channel and I love it! I'm a retired 65-year-old-man who played a lot of basketball when I was in elementary school and through 10th grade. I didn't have a father or anyone who would teach me how to shoot. One thing on my bucket list is to learn to shoot better and perhaps get in shape and play some basketball. I have subscribed and I look forward to more great content! Thank you!

I was wondering why my three pointers are always better when I'm moving forward as oppose to standing still and shooting. It's cause I had the momentum that made my nose to be over my knees, but when still, I didn't have that. Great tip, I'm def gonna try all these. Thanks once again

@joeylambert5933

@@randellelinner6290 s. This MAY help... Try slowing things down. Practice w/o a ball first. Visualize simply sitting into a chair. Keep your nose atop yir' knees, knees over toes. Rep this motion slowly & deliberately until becoming stronger at it. Later, add syncing the bball up w/ the motion. Get the progressions down in order to gain confidence. Hit me back if you need help.

I wish i had a coach or KZfaq growing up... I basically learned watching great shooters and trying to emulate their shot... I eventually got good enough where as a 14-15 yr old I got called Reggie Miller once...the advice I would give is focus on the way you hold the ball and trying to keep a fluid motion from start to finish... repetition is key... and once you establish good form, even if you stop playing for months and even years the muscle memory is still there and you never forget how to shoot.

Love the emphasis on the hips. A lot of players young think that jumping power is generated from their thighs and quads, and don’t even take hips into account. Major fast-twitch action and stabilization produced by the hips.
