I must add, when played solo and explained, the dice rolling seems more laborious than in actual play, when the actions/reactions will flow from one player to the other in a more organic manner. What I mean is while in solo it seems complex, in player-vs-player it just flows smoothly.

I know what you mean. I will open it up when I do the next video with more space and details, like group actions etc.

If I wanted to do a mini dungeon crawl demo. Would it be best to use SOBH with the song of gold and darkness. Or do you think I could just get away with using ASOBH? Thanks

Played a bit of the original SoBH, haven't had a chance to play ASoBH, but have looked at the rules. Another thumbs up for this game!

Yes its a fun system. I found some of the extra advanced rules made it a little on the complex, however after a couple of games it was still a lot of fun.

one of my all time favorite skirmish rule sets. I highly recommend people give this system a try.

Cool vid. Really like this game for 15mm. I use the measuring gauges from Litko for both 28mm and 15mm plus they come with some handy tokens as well. Love the painting on yer minis!

I will have to look up those rulers. I would actually like some painted wooden rules. I will have to make some.

When I play solo, I don’t roll for reactions. I give the enemy a free action. Otherwise it very tedious. 😊

Sadly he is dead! It was a company called Corsec engineering in the USA, so you might still find stock on eBay. He died earlier this year. Another option might be Litko that do some acrylic rulers.
