Sergio São Paulo Brazil

@@sharonobryan9713We created a lot of pollution when we dropped two atomic bombs on them though to beat them into surrender in WW2 in 1945. Fire stormed Tokyo too. It was pretty horrific. They aren't taught that in Jap schools though. That period is erased from their taught history of Japan.

Thanks for the video, I've made this run many times and it brings back good memories. One landmark to look out for, especially for whisky lovers, is the Suntory Yamazaki distillery. You can see it from the left hand side of the train between Osaka and Kyoto when travelling in the up direction towards Tokyo, on the mountainside.

It's fun. I've taken the shinkansen numerous times. One time on the way to Tokyo I was reading part of Steven King's dark tower series, the part that was about a murderous AI controlling a futuristic Bullet Train. Total coincidence, but it made the read all the more immersive and enjoyable.

Describing the Green Car on the Tokaidō Shinkansen as "First Class" might be a bit of an overstatement. In my personal opinion, it feels more like a level below Business Class, somewhere between domestic flights' premium seats and Economy. Specifically, at best on a level similar to JAL's domestic "Class J".🙄
