Fun! I actually have never tried any Dominant Industry inks. Which is kinda crazy since I'm an ink sample queen lol. I really enjoy swatching them. Some end up in pens and others I enjoy using like watercolors. It's all addicting, but in the best way! 💜

I have yet to try them as watercolors, I’m too scared of getting ink everywhere. Tbh I secretly panic every time I change ink😂 This is my first time with dominant industry, I need to try a non shimmer because if I’m honest, this isn’t my favorite ink and I probably won’t use it again. I love sheening and dual shading inks😍 You are so right they are so addicting and the fact u can get samples just make it dangerous lol

@@FrenchyInFocus I have a few shimmering inks from when I started out, in samples only not full bottles. They are pain to clean out of pens. I may cheat and just skip shaking the bottle to avoid the shimmer 🤣. Shading inks are my fav. When I do pen cleaning day, I set up almost like I'm going to be coffee/tea dying papers but use the ink water instead. I started my artistic journey in mixed media and fluid acrylics. So I was already used to the mess before fountain pens showed up.

You know what I’m going to try that out because the pen is already clogging. The color is pretty but I’m too lazy. Oh that ink water is a good idea! I’m gonna try that next time I clean out my pens. I wish you had a channel I would’ve love to see your art! Do you have them posted anywhere???

Lol it’s all stained with inks. I had an accident this morning, right before filming and had blue ink all over the mat (hence the fold) and my fingers 😅 all I thought about was your mishap 😂😂and yes I have, but I tend to just use bottle inks since I buy a converter for all my pens when I order them. So far I like the j.herbins, I’ve tried Kawecos but 🤷🏻♀️ I didn’t love them. I ordered some sailor shikiori ones but I know I’m gonna love those. Do you have any recs?

@@FrenchyInFocus 😂 I have my Student Kaweco inked up with a Diamine cartridge, I like it for the simplicity and lack of an ink-y mess. ❣️✨

@@theartesana Thats true it is less messy, but I love the ritual of cleaning a pen and carefully choosing an ink. I feel like I bind with the pen as silly as that sounds lol.How do you like Diamine inks? do you have any shade recommendations? I have yet to try one that I liked, but a lot of people love them

@@FrenchyInFocus That’s your interconnectedness to your precious analog tools❣️✨ I like the mixed sets that Jet Pens offers because you get to try multiple colors. Currently using warm brown..I LOVE IT! ❣️✨

@@theartesana True! While I do love them, I think I just appreciate the little blessings God has given me. There was a time that I could only dream of having these little artifacts! They are my tools 🛠 I use to worship, learn be creative and just get everything out of my chest 😊 and jet pens have mixed sets?!?

Does the sport write smoothly? Had some trouble with other pens in this subject so a bit paranoid :)

mine do, but it's not always guaranteed. The gold colored kaweco nibs write the smoothest of all. Have you tried twsbi eco?? They are not too far off in price range and I have several EF (notorious for being scratchy) that are the smoothest of nibs, comparable to a 14k gold to be completely honest🤭

@@FrenchyInFocusOh thats strange. I think i will go with kaweco because in my country kaweco is 400₺ while eco is an unfair 1500₺ Thanks for the reply🙂

@@ut1280 oh really? In America it’s only a few dollars difference. I would recommend the gold colored nib then for sure! Those write like butter! I have a olive Kaweco with the gold color and I adore that one!
