I know Joplin is about an hour from Springfield but Hope City in Joplin is amazing! Very family friendly, so many ways to get connected and the message is always great. I don’t personally go to church any more for personal reasons.. but whenever I do go I go to Hope City!

I haven't been to church since 2016 and i dont want to go back at all tho cause its uncomfortable and i say oh my god a lot cause i just do and i lol i don't care about it tho also i do say things that parents aren't allowed any bad word it's just cause i do say them when nobody is around tho

My sister in Christ, never forget that WE his children are the church! Not some man made building that has all of the works of a "good church". I've silently grown up with you as a viewer for years now, everything you were raised to believe and practice hurt you and strayed you from the God spoken truth about Jesus and his purpose for us. You were too young to recognize what was happening, the lies, the misinterpretation, & the control. You found your own truth, your own understanding with the Lord!! It's about relationship, NOT RELIGION!! As you're on ur church home journey, pray for strengthening of your discernment. Guard your heart and your spirit, be as picky as you can. I've been trying many different churches in hopes of finding my "home". It's taken a lot of spiritual discernment to notice that more than half nondenominational church communities are corrupt in some way or another. Your jesus loving heart is your most precious treasure it is a promised eternity to you, protect it by whatever means necessary. The devil will do whatever he can to trick you away from living wholeheartedly as a daughter of Christ. Your chains were broken and you've been freed!! Sydney just know if you ever have one tiniest doubt or weird feeling from the ways of the church, pastor, community ect turn around and walk away. Build your house on rock, not hard sand (quote that verse lol). Stand firm in your relationship with him, and firmer in your personal understanding of his love and written word means. I think the most important thing is whether or not a Church teaches Salvation by Grace through faith.. no works. Because that determines whether or not they are even part of the body of Christ. If they're trying to work their way into heaven they won't succeed. Romans 10:3 shows this. That's the issue with 90% of denominations because most believe it's faith.. and baptism, works, prayer, reading the Bible, tongues, etc.

Hello! I really think that you should check out Jehovah's Witnesses. They only teach what the Bible teaches. Nothing more or less. Try to come to the memorial this Sunday! It is to commemorate Jesus death as he commanded.
