My old Africa Twin isn't a model which Honda imported into Australia in the 90's, so I have to get the bike ADR approved and then it has to pass a vehicle inspection before she can be licensed to ride in Australia!

I absolutely hang on every Fram. I have a love affair with a 1999 klr 650. I bought out of a barn. I call her my y2k The Boss. Watching you breathe life back into the war horse has hit a soft spot in probably anyone who has had the joy of finding that old girl that time forgot. Great stuff Adam.

So happy to watch your excitement grow as the bike went through the inspections. Most Aussie part of the video has to be when you compliment the welder and he replies “and that’s after two beers!” - lol, that’s awesome. Congrats on the bike, great story 👍🏻

Love to see you being mad about your Africa Twin! 😍👍 That's what I did to my Cagiva Elefant 900 i.e. Lucky Explorer. Now 32 Years young! Rebuilt with 18/21 Excel Rims, Powder coated Frame and so on. It's a Dakar Winner too and one of about 1000. I love ridibg it due to the 900 ccm Ducati Engin. I will never give it away. Always a safe ride and maximum fun with your Africa Twin! 🍀🙏🍀

It’s really good to see warhorse again, I have soft spot for these types of early adventure bikes, my first was a 1985 DR600 which I totally rebuilt it the early 90’s which I used as a daily through the week went camping on the weekends, until I discovered how the internals of a Honda XR 600 were built with roller bearings on the cam shaft. Then I changed camps. Now after having a 2014 660 Tenere for 12 months, which after 10 yrs of owning a LC4 400 previous. I sold the Tenere & chase down the 07 ktm 640 adventure interstate,so far after pulling it down & going through it I’ve address everything that was needed, my plain is to do the cape unsupported in September from blue mountains nsw. Thank you for sharing your story it’s great to watch & inspirational 👍👍👍

watching Adam restore that old Honda Africa Twin, aka "the warhorse", was truly inspiring! It's amazing to see how beautifully she showcases what's necessary on a motorcycle and what's not. This bike was probably standing for such a long time and watching it come back to life is truly exciting. The attention to detail and dedication to the restoration process is evident in every step he takes to scrub the years off her back. It's truly a work of art and a testament to the timeless durability of these machines. Cheers Mate, thanks for the movies about her!

Thank you Adam for your knowledge, your enthusiasm, your no bull sense, and your channel and videos. Excellent storytelling, Adam! Hope the old Warhorse will deliver the Aussie outback adventure you're planning. It's quite exiting to see you engage in this 30 year old AT. The heritage of this XRV750 RD04 animal being a development mainly for the European market, you've got a specimen that will be envied down under once restoration is finished. The Akrapovic adaption was awesome and you most definitely make them proud! Looking forward to devour your planned outback adventures and YT episodes to come. Greetings from Norway and best of luck to you and your Warhorse project! 🙂

When I had to change my brake fluid or bleed my brakes on my Piper supercub, we always pushed the hydraulic fluid from brake end, toward the master cylinder. This helped to purge tiny bubbles in the master cylinder and tubing so the brakes didn't feel spongy.
