If you want to do a Sake / craft beer tour let me know. Theres alot of great places in Yokohama. Also, things to checkout in yokohama: - Noge (west of Sakuragicho station - epic oldschool bar area) - Redbrick warehouse - always has some event going on - Yamashita Koen - great area up the hill with a view of the bay - CraftSakeShoten - Near yokohama station, great bar with epic sake selection - China town - hugs chinatown, great food - Ishikawacho - motomachi shopping street / craft street - Nambushijo - great wetmarket on the weekends. Has a grilling area too.

The Nissan museum looked great! You should visit all the official car museums in Japan and see which one you recommend the most, I'm sure your simracing friend would be very happy to accompany you on such a mission and it would be much more interesting than speedrunning temples, right @lushfruit?

We've had Nissan cars for years (picking up the new Qashqai Friday) so I'm genuinely interested in the Nissan HQ when we visit, and I never would've known about it if it weren't for you Mudan, so thank you ❤

Used to live in Japan, I have fond memories of the Landmark Tower, Cup Noodle Museum and Gundam Factory! If you haven't yet check out Chinatown, lots of good food there!

Great vlog and thank you for pointing out children activities in the noodle museum. Somehow I am amazed at how many people are waiting in a line in Japan. Maybe you can do a line compilation / summary video at the end of your journey. In a year I spent x amount of time in a line and x amount of time in the wrong line.

You do make your own cup of noodles at the museum. First you decorate your cup then you go through a line like a buffet and you get to pick all of the ingredients/toppings. They put them in your cup and seal it.

Kirin Brewery is pretty sweet, they even give you 3 beers to drink at the end of it. If you're into cars the Nismo Omori factory is sweet too. And at night (Friday/Saturday) Daikoku Futo is also a must for car nuts.

Surprised you didn't go to the Red Brick Warehouse. It was pretty close to the Ramen Museum I believe and is a popular attraction due to some of its fashion, cafes, and "kind of" unique atmosphere. Maybe I'm glazing but it was fun for me.

you actually can select the flavors and toppings you put into the cup that you color, but they only let you choose one soup base and like 6 toppings like some sort of amateurs. I personally wanted to combine everything just to see how it tastes.

Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum is pretty dope. It has cool retro Showa-era style, like Abroad in Japan studio. It also has ramen from whole Japan.

Maybe if you commented a mock itinerary he would be more inclined to do it? As I’m sure you’ve seen a million times already, there’s way too many temples and shrines in the absolutely massive city that is Tokyo. Maybe ask him to do every temple in a specific part of the city? Tokyo is made up of like 26 different cities with 100s of temples in each one? Maybe another suggestion would be speed run the temples by visiting the largest/most popular one in each city within Tokyo?

Why didn't you go to Chinatown? At the Cup of Noodles Museum, you can make your own ramen from scratch in a class, but you need to reserve ahead of time.

China town would be fun to visit, I believe there's an optical illusion museum in the mall building called Daisekai. But I personally don't recommend the food there, besides one meat bun store, everything is a bit meh.

Aogashima! Yes, Tokyo. And it is the smallest village in Japan. It is an island. It's the best place for a speedrun. And by the way, to conquer the temples of Tokyo, you need this place too. First of all, you should look at the map. Just looking at its shape should be enough to get you interested.

Surely by now you've learnt that everything in Japan must be booked in advance? 😅 I know everything is a speed run, but lining up some reservations would help. AFAIK the Cup Noodle museum allows you to create a custom flavour combination, as well as a unique cup. I think that's pretty cool - I mean it is Cup Noodle, so the bar is pretty low.
