And a few years later, Tsitsipas is top 5. And Moeller most of the time still outside of the top 500, playing futures without very much success and only few challengers. But thinks that he deserves much more than this.

There hasn’t been a faster rate of improvement and rankings climb in 2.5 years since Rafa back in 2004-2006 when he was rising.
@Jorgito Yokiro Cabrera Agreed, this guy has talent for sure, but no way near Rafa’s level as Rafa at 22 already won 6 GS: 4 Roland Garros, 1 Wimbledon, 1 Australia Open. This guy hasn’t reached a grand slam final yet.

It amazes me at how the skinny little kids can hit with such consistent pace.

He’s already 6” tall here and long armed for that height. Timing and leverage are the 2 most important things. You can get most of your weight transfer and leverage into a ball even falling back. Not ideal but it just shows strength has little to do with it.

Tsitsipas got great game. His forehand falls a bit short though, given he put lots of topspin on it. Compared to backhand it is perfect

His serve seems more stable in his youth. His momentum went into the court, rather than pulling to the side.

Can you please report the method of speed measurement. I'm not doubting but there are several methods and they can vary in measurement of the same serve and were both serves speed measured with the same method. If not, what were they. FYI, I LOVE your tips. I'm rehabbing after two heart surgeries and they help discipline me and improve my habtis. Thanks. AR

what grip is he using

Benjamin Tong semi-western but he straight arms it. With his wingspan he generates a ton of torque when he times it right but it's hard to get right every time. Same stroke from a shorter player would be Jason Jung or a more compact and forceful body frame Fernando Verdasco.

More eastern than semi western.
@richieortiz54 жыл бұрын
TheTora75 definitely more eastern than semi-western. A dimitrov semi western
