TSS Duke of Lancaster From The Air - The Stunning Mostyn Fun Ship on North Wales Coastline (4K UHD)

This is the second of two videos I have made recently from a single visit to the TSS Duke of Lancaster a short while back. We went to meet the staff, owners and appreciation society members to do a few interviews for our other channel ‪@NorthWalesBoatsandPlanes‬
Naturally for the interviews I took quite a bit of drone footage, so I thought it would be a shame to waste the shots, and made this video too.
The ship is rare. The last steam turbine passenger ship in existence, built in the same ship yards, by the same builders as the actual Titanic. It has had multiple uses over the years just when it was on the water; from cruise liner to car ferry. It was perhaps to gain its most famous use though when in 1979, it was bought by John Rowley and docked permanently at Mostyn.
It was known as the fun ship for years, and many people still remember days out there fondly. Troubles with the local authority shut it down in the 80s though, and it has sat waiting for its revival ever since.
Personally, I think she's beautiful, and I'd love to see her being used a lot more in the future. check out the interviews on North Wales Boats and Planes (Channel).

Emma what can i say well hear we go, your flying is up there with the best, the flight paths you take are perfect, the control you have is first class, and the music was excellent, im a big fan of yours so bring on the next one. 👏👏👍.

Hiya Jamie, yeah it's a spectacular ship. A lot of people tell us the same thing, that they enjoyed visiting it when they were younger. Did you watch the other video we did about it on our other channel (linked in the description)? It gives a bit more insight into its background (interviews). The warm weather has had me struggling to breathe even more than normal unfortunately, and I'm burned to a crisp 😎, so I'm happy it's subsided a little bit now.
