This video was taken a couple of days before Christmas Eve, at Bangor Pier, or Garth Pier (as it's properly known). It was taken on a short few hours out to get some fresh air after having one of the worst incidents of being short term ill that I have had in years. This on top of my long terms issues, was difficult to cope with.
I spent weeks and weeks resting and I'm still recovering. I started needing to stay in bed in November '22. The last time I was this ill I ended up in the emergency resus section of A&E.

So as you can imagine I was very thankful to get out and about and to have the chance to take the drone up to capture a video. The lights here were beautiful and were only slightly ruined by the fact that they were incomplete.
This is not one of my best videos, but it's nice to be back making them.

Hi Emma, just arrived here on Tony at Flyskydrones UK's recommendation. Love your intro. I used to live directly opposite the pier (I live in Cornwall now) several decades ago; it was being left to rot back then, so wonderful to see it restored to its original magnificence. Excellent flying/filming and a wealth of wonderful memories. Thank you for sharing, from a very impressed new subscriber.👌👍😊

Hi there - so sorry I could not reply until now, my computer had a load of problems (like not working), and I have spent the week rebuilding another. Ah yes Tony, that's a great show he has, and I'm always thankful for the support he gives me and everyone else. Thanks a million for the feedback. It's a very impressive pier now, and while I rarely get down to it actually these days, when I do, it's always lovely. I wonder if there's anything else you'll spot here on the channel that will bring back memories!? Thanks very much for the sub. :)

@@EmmaBailey Hi Emma, no problem. I had a similar issue with my laptop last year. I think its the technology's way of saying: 'Hey, give me a break, I haven't had a day off in years!' I'll be checking out a lot more of your work in the coming weeks (reaaly busy ever since I retired). I used to go back to Bangor regularly when we lived in Wrexham, but since we moved to Cornwall 16 years ago I've only been back once as its such a time consuming trek now. Delighted to sub your channel.😊

Fantastic video. I think you'd like my mate from the same riverside estate...Mooresly400 he is in my professional amateur opinion the best male drone flyer, editor and whatever else there is to be the best in the world (not including FPV) drone pilot out there. You're welcome.

Thank you very much. I could not agree more. I know a lot of talented drone flyers and editors, and Mooresly400 is very very good. I think he commented on something of mine earlier on (Holyhead Port I think). I'll never be the best, but as long as I max out my ability and enjoyment, and always keep learning, it'll be good enough. Much appreciated.
