Brand new it seems. Saw the article last week and ordered it straight away

Very intereting. Manual focus; my arch nemisis. LOL. These manual focus lenses seem to have such a strong following. Maybe its time I push myself and see what kind of trouble I can get into with one of these lenses. On a side note, your sound was absolutely on point in this video. Good stuff.

Haha right? I started on manual focus (and film) so for me it’s fun and relaxing. It slows you down but with focus leaking on mirrorless cameras it’s relatively easy to find focus and have some fun. Excited to see how this one works

Good to see you. I have the old Canon 50mm f1.8 I adapt to my R6. Did you get that because it is an RF? I shot some football this morning. Only a scrimmage but daym it felt good shooting off a few! First game is next Friday. I cant wait.

Oh nice. I got this because it’s native (RF) but also it’s just a fun lens. I like traveling with a lens on my camera. Often carry it on my shoulder as I travel or on my passenger seat in the truck etc.

@@BrettCarlsen Oh something I learned about cameras on the passenger seat dont always stay there lol. Please use your seat belt to lock it in place.

Haha yes. That helps. I tuck mine back a bit but never do it with a heavy lens. Then they fly haha

Great video thanks! Been seeing a lot of mixed reviews on this. As a pro photographer, what do you think of this lens? Do you still have it and use it? How do you like it over the RF 50mm 1.8 STM?
