He is talking about what they called the Hopewell civilization. The mound builders. There are several books that you can buy that talks about what was found in some of the mounds. Steel foundry and steel tools as well as copper. hundreds of Skeletons stacked up that had armor plates. Some still had armor on their skulls. There is also a book with illustrations drawn by the Army Corp of Engineers in 1847. Many of these mounds are now gone but some still exists. There are also some things that Joseph Smith talked about that have just been discovered in Palmyra, NY. Things are getting very interesting!!!

Yes, tons of artifacts have been found in North America. For example, Jaredite 10-foot skeletons, copper and iron tools and weapons, Newark Holy stones of the ten commandments, Michigan artifacts, Burrows Cave artifacts, Davenport Tablets, Bat Creek Stone, Grave Creek Stone, Davenport Tablets, elephant effigy pipes and so much more. There are also remnants of over a million mounds (effigy, observation, burial, ceremonial. etc.) all over the eastern US and southern Ontario Canada. Sadly, many were leveled for farming and treasure seekers. These mounds and earthworks were connected to the Adena and Hopewell civilizations. Although the Army Corps of Engineers began in 1802, they did not publish "Ancient Monuments of the Mississippi Valley" in 1848. The book was the first publication on the subject by the Smithsonian and the authors were Squire and Davis. Squire and Davis did not survey all the earthworks and mounds in the book. They used drawings from others. Some could have been affiliated with the USACE. In 1851 Squire published Antiquities of New York and distanced himself from the Smithsonian because of their heavy-handed censorship. They didn't like evidence of Hebrews in America before Columbus. John Wesley Powell also promoted censoring the truth. Sadly, the USACE allegedly destroyed one of the most amazing earthworks in the late 1800s and early 1900s. It is known as the Lost Menorah Mound. Located in Ohio, the 2000-foot-long sides of the structure included a 9-stick Menorah and a Jewish oil lamp. Some say this might be the city of Lehi because of its unique construction.

I think she feels it's time to go back to her Mormon roots, maybe not in a practising way but in a more outspoken way, because in the cultural context in which America finds itself currently, the forces of good and evil are becoming more and more pronounced and will only get worse as time goes on. This is just a fact. Even the prophet has said this. Moreover, she in recent times was the only outspoken celebrity voice in the wilderness acknowledging Qanon, which made her a big target of the media/liberal establishment. Who wouldn't turn to their Christian roots after going thru that!

I’m pretty sure Rosanne’s family growing up was Jewish…. I’ve seen her quoted as saying, “Friday-Saturday we were Jewish, Mon-Thurs we were Mormon,” because she grew up in SLC. The Heartland, Mesoamerica, and South America models are just the tip of the iceberg concerning these cultures. Remember, the Lord promised the brother of Jared that there would be none greater concerning their civilization. The Mongol empire practically encompassed the whole of Asia from the pacific to Poland. The sun never set on the British empire, and yet none of these were greater. By focusing on only one or two geographical areas, you limit your vision of the true extent of these civilizations. As an aside, the real focus should be on the doctrines which are priceless in any era of mankind.

@@bturner540 I'm greatful that you took the time to make a comment on mine. I'm well aware of the historical greatest empires. In fact Portugal and Spain divided the world in two among them and the Pope was happy to aprove it. Now that's power. Nevermind Portugal being a tiny country without people to control it's half of the world. My comment wasn't an isolated statement. I've watched every movie on this site that deals with the different models and this is my personal opinion on that topic. That's not the same thing as saying that's my only focus. Since we got the instruction to build Zion wherever we live at knowing where the Book of Mormon happened it's kind of a mute point and yes one would miss the forest focused on the tree. Still it's fun for me to look at people's arguments to champion their world view on the subject. Peace be with you.

Love the rest of that section also! D&C 123 12 For there are many yet on the earth among all sects, parties, and denominations, who are blinded by the subtle craftiness of men, whereby they lie in wait to deceive, and who are only kept from the truth because they know not where to find it- 13 Therefore, that we should waste and wear out our lives in bringing to light all the hidden things of darkness, wherein we know them; and they are truly manifest from heaven- 14 These should then be attended to with great earnestness. 15 Let no man count them as small things; for there is much which lieth in futurity, pertaining to the saints, which depends upon these things. 16 You know, brethren, that a very large ship is benefited very much by a very small helm in the time of a storm, by being kept workways with the wind and the waves. 17 Therefore, dearly beloved brethren, let us cheerfully do all things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost assurance, to see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed.

She has read the book of Mormon and grew up in Utah. She is NOT Mormon, she is a Jew and grew up in the Jewish Culture in Utah. She is very kind to the LDS faith and consistently refers to what she has learned from the Mormons and compares it to what she has learned as a Jew. Her curiosity is what drives her to learn so much and teach what she knows at such a late age.

Please remember that most of the prehistory of native Americans is by word of mouth. How can that remain accurate? We need to find more written records of these people! We have abused these wonderful people that can teach us much about the earth , about natural foods and medications. They have a strong belief in our creator, and how can that be bad, we all should learn and respect that! I hope and pray we can find more written records like the Book of Mormon .

Several hundred books were written in the 1700s and 1800s trying to explain how the Lost 10 tribes came to ancient America and built the giant earthworks and mounds so we shouldn't be surprised that Tucker would embrace this false notion. Tucker just needs to Read the Book of Mormon like billions of other people to get a correct understanding of the tribes of Israel. America is the Promised Land for Joseph (Ephraim and Manasseh). The other tribes got their inheritance in the Middle East. This section isn't limited to the 1830s and 1840s. I believe it applies today, because lies are being told by people in and out of the church about false geography (over 150 models) and a false translation method with a seer stone in a hat. The ONLY instrument of translation was the Urim and Thummim, but the lies persist about geography and the translation method. Here is the big picture view to give context to the amazing scripture that Jack read about "blinded by the subtle craftiness of men." SECTION 123 Duty of the Saints in relation to their persecutors, as written by Joseph Smith the Prophet while a prisoner in the jail at Liberty, Missouri. This section is an excerpt from an epistle to the Church dated March 20, 1839 (see the heading to section 121). 1-6, The Saints should collect and publish an account of their sufferings and persecutions; 7-10, The same spirit that established the false creeds also leads to persecution of the Saints; 11-17, Many among all sects will yet receive the truth. 1 And again, we would suggest for your consideration the propriety of all the saints gathering up a knowledge of all the facts, and sufferings and abuses put upon them by the people of this State; 2 And also of all the property and amount of damages which they have sustained, both of character and personal injuries, as well as real property; 3 And also the names of all persons that have had a hand in their oppressions, as far as they can get hold of them and find them out. 4 And perhaps a committee can be appointed to find out these things, and to take statements and affidavits; and also to gather up the libelous publications that are afloat; 5 And all that are in the magazines, and in the encyclopedias, and all the libelous histories that are published, and are writing, and by whom, and present the whole concatenation of diabolical rascality and nefarious and murderous impositions that have been practiced upon this people- 6 That we may not only publish to all the world, but present them to the heads of government in all their dark and hellish hue, as the last effort which is enjoined on us by our Heavenly Father, before we can fully and completely claim that promise which shall call him forth from his hiding place; and also that the whole nation may be left without excuse before he can send forth the power of his mighty arm. 7 It is an imperative duty that we owe to God, to angels, with whom we shall be brought to stand, and also to ourselves, to our wives and children, who have been made to bow down with grief, sorrow, and care, under the most damning hand of murder, tyranny, and oppression, supported and urged on and upheld by the influence of that spirit which hath so strongly riveted the creeds of the fathers, who have inherited lies, upon the hearts of the children, and filled the world with confusion, and has been growing stronger and stronger, and is now the very mainspring of all corruption, and the whole earth groans under the weight of its iniquity. 8 It is an iron yoke, it is a strong band; they are the very handcuffs, and chains, and shackles, and fetters of hell. 9 Therefore it is an imperative duty that we owe, not only to our own wives and children, but to the widows and fatherless, whose husbands and fathers have been murdered under its iron hand; 10 Which dark and blackening deeds are enough to make hell itself shudder, and to stand aghast and pale, and the hands of the very devil to tremble and palsy. 11 And also it is an imperative duty that we owe to all the rising generation, and to all the pure in heart- 12 For there are many yet on the earth among all sects, parties, and denominations, who are blinded by the subtle craftiness of men, whereby they lie in wait to deceive, and who are only kept from the truth because they know not where to find it- 13 Therefore, that we should waste and wear out our lives in bringing to light all the hidden things of darkness, wherein we know them; and they are truly manifest from heaven- 14 These should then be attended to with great earnestness.

One of the main things I notice in dealing with Anti LDS individuals is that their arguements always do several things. 1 their "Claims" about the LDS faith are always attacks made without context 2) they always demand a "simple" answer to an intentionally complex attack 3) they out of hand dismiss any explanation that contradicts their pre-formed opinions. 4) they always misquote LDS scripture and attempt to twist it to support their false (and flawed) attack There have been a multitude of times where (when dealing with anti's) properly answering someones attack would take 45 minutes to an hour to respond, but it would consist of like 10+ paragraphs and 12+ hyperlinks to document the supporting answer, and I just dont have the time to type up the response. Attacking the church is easier for the Anti's than engaging their brains and spending the time looking at and reading the actual data points.

That reminds me of an experience I had 45 years ago in the LA area. I worked with a large, booming ex-evangelical preacher who discovered the Bible had errors, and was reading several anti-church books of the era. He would ask me about various claims, etc. for my reaction and explanation, and then he would call the authors by phone; berating them for lying and twisting the facts. Eventually I baptized he and his family. For a while, he was a sought after Fireside speaker. Sadly, after a few years he was caught in adultery and excommunicated. I have often wondered what happened to him. I hope there was a return.

Galatians 1:8-12 NKJV But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ. But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ. NKJV: New King James Version Share Read Galatians 1

I worry that he is so popular and yet so extremely biased that he might be doing more harm than good. He gets away with saying some of the things I wish I actually could say but I don’t want to hurt people‘s feelings. I don’t consider him to be a journalist in the sense that he is here to tell the unbiased truth. He is very clearly conservative, and he is very clearly self promoting. However, he has a massive fan base and a large audience so it’s always worth getting his attention. As for the book of Mormon, I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that it is actually a historical and spiritual book and it is only one book of many. it was a bridged and gathered together and summarized by Mormon and Maroney and left for us. Think about how many hundreds of other plates and documents are left! I don’t think it’s true. I know it is. I have also seen archaeological evidence to support it, which confirms my faith.
