Fun fact: I used to have a vigilante OC called Nightjar, because he was sort of bird-themed in my head (but not to the extent of, like, having a whole-ass bird costume; just like a little patch on his jacket). I hadn't actually seen a picture of a real nightjar. I just thought the name was cool, and it still is! But real nightjars - pointedly not the majestic bastards that are great-eared nightjars - look like someone glued wings to a sweet potato and stuck googly eyes on it. They look. So dumb. I renamed that OC the same day I learned this.

Hydras are weak to fire, bleed incurable acidic poison, and have venom and are a type of mutant serpent not a draconic creature. "Dragon" is like saying "archosaur". It's like telling snekz apart... and then thinking that "reptile" is a specific snake species.
